#IPFS support is coming to curl!
This is huge, and is the first step to making the content-addressable web available to everyone. The changes, which will likely be included in the next curl release, allow for IPFS & IPNS URIs to be resolved through curl.

For all the other normies out there, you'll have to wait until operating systems start shipping with built-in nodes or link to a public gateway.
HOWEVER, since curl is the backbone of many libraries and applications, #IPFS support at the application level will become easier than ever!
Step 1: set an IPFS_GATEWAY env var
Step 2: use IPFS URIs just as you would use an HTTP URL
