Jeff took Tron: Ares a bit too seriously
Breitbart News
@BreitbartNewsJun 26
Jeff Bridges shows Theo Von how he uses AI to write and record songs, playing a Suno-generated track about his wife Sue "It's frightening, man. It's very frightening, but it's an amalgamation of all our wisdom, our soul, our things." "All the guys in Nashville are using it now. Instead of going into the studio and paying, you know, $10,000, they can do this for nothing, man."

I'm starting to think maybe people just don't want to see 80s movie revivals starring Jared Leto. But it is WAY too soon to call MOTU a flop.

“Masters of the Universe” debuted with a soft $29.3 million in North America. It’s a slow start for a movie that cost nearly $200 million to produce, not including the marketing budget. It’ll require substantial staying power to justify its price tag, considering that theater owners get to keep roughly 50% of ticket sales. variety.com/2026/film/box-of…

I'm still mad Tron: Ares didn't get a nomination for visuals, (even though Avatar would win) score, or best original song.
