Temple Sevaks keep our ancient shrines alive in remote villages where care of these ancient has all but faded. These Sevaks receive no regular salary. What they earn for their daily duties is NOT even a pittance. There is no health cover, no help for children’s education, no pension. Still they loyally remain at their respective temples guarding our traditions and dharma. They light the lamps, perform simple but regular poojas, and hold the line for our temple culture. They are the unsung protectors of these sacred spaces. For two years now we have given monthly support to about 75 such servitors so that village temples do not fall silent. How much time more before the @tnhrcedept realizes that it cannot pay Rs. 2 lakhs per month to the 3 Committee members appointed under this judgment from the "HRCE Fund" ? 1. There is nothing called HRCE Fund 2. The @tnhrcedept knows that they cannot touch the "HINDU RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE ENDOWMENTS ADMINISTRATION FUND" for this purpose - They know it because I got a judgment to that effect from an HON'BLE BENCH of Madras High Court on 23.06.2026! Pazhani Sri Dhandayuthapani Swamy is Vetrivel Muruhan !

Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 is now Section 316(5) of the BNS. What it says: Any Govt. Servant having dominion over a property (in their capacity of a public servant) commits breach of Trust - will face a punishment of Life imprisonment or imprisonment up to 10 years. The Executive Officer of Samayapuram Sri Mariamman Temple and its Fit Person "seek the approval" of the Commissioner of @tnhrcedept 😂🤣 to send an Innova Car bought with funds of the temple and owned by the temple (TN 48 BC 7225) to the Office of the Commissioner in Chennai. The seek approval for meeting the fuel expenses, maintenance and insurance of the car (to be used by the Commissioner) from the funds of the temple. What a SHAM! Why would a Joint Commissioner and the Fit Person (they are Law graduates) send the temple car to the office of the Commissioner and also commit to pay for its fuel and maintenance ! The Simple Truth - The Commissioner asked for the temple car to be sent to his office and they did it. In my considered opinion, The Commissioner, the Joint Commissioner/Executive Officer of Sri Mariamman Temple and Fit Person are liable to be booked under Section 316(5) of the BNS for Criminal Breach of Trust. They can be put behind bars for a period of ten years! (and this is not the 1st time Samayapuram temple had to send a car to the Commissioner's office and pay its fuel bills too - see picture enclosed) Will Hon'ble Minister for @tnhrcedept - Shri @RameshOffcl direct the police to book the officials who are guilty of criminal breach of trust and malfeasance?

What has changed in @tnhrcedept ? Nothing good. As far as protection of temple lands and realising income therefrom - things have worsened in TVK rule. Now two CORRUPT persons have been PROMOTED and posted to income-rich temples…. Wonder who is running the @tnhrcedept ? Hope @RameshOffcl takes the reins from him and runs it far better.

A. Today, on Vijayadasami Day, I issued a legal notice to: (i) the Secretary, HR&CE Department, Government of Tamil Nadu (ii) Commissioner of @tnhrcedept and (iii) the Director of Hindu Religious Institutions Audit Department for empaneling Chartered Accountants without following HR&CE Act and Rules, authorizing payments to such Chartered Accountants - i.e. additional audit fees and filing fees from temple funds when the useless Department already collects an atrocious 4% of temple income as audit fees. B. The @tnhrcedept which controls Hindu Temples and Endowments by FRAUD and only by FRAUDs on the Statute - shamelessly charges 12% as Administration Fees for the lousy, inefficient administration and 4% as Audit Fees for a totally useless audit of Hindu Temples carried out by government servants. C. 2 Million Audit objections await proper rectification since the year 1986 - The audit team has no audit manual - not a single Chartered Accountant. D. In the last 12 years the misfits in @tnhrcedept messed up/ are guilty of dereliction of duties - in filing Income-Tax returns. They miserably failed in getting proper credit for more than Rs.600 Crores against the TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) deducted from temple interest and rental income. A huge loss to Hindu Temples - thanks to @tnhrcedept Though every one of the Executive Officers of the 70+ temples which earn more than Rs. 1.00 Crore as annual income is a LAW GRADUATE, they are total misfits when it comes to filing IT returns, claiming TDS and GST credits. E. So the Commissioner - who thinks he is the Lord of all he surveys, - Empanels more than 200 Chartered Accountants/Audit Firms in 2025 and "graciously sanctions" - "additional fees" to be paid by Hindu Temples. This is misappropriation and malfeasance of temple funds since the IAS fellow has no authority under TN HR&CE Act, 1959 and the Rules framed thereunder to do so. F. I have given them 4 weeks time to rectify these errors and violations of law. Going by their lousy track record they will NOT even reply to my notice. Lets see what they have to say in Court when I file a Writ Petition in this matter.

Going by the lousy track record of the Shameless, Corrupt and Inefficient @tnhrcedept in disobeying orders of the Courts - This excellent order of the Learned Single Judge of the Madras High Court too would be ignored/ disobeyed/ deliberately violated by the misfits in the @tnhrcedept The @tnhrcedept exists only for the following reasons: 1. To allow properties to be usurped by encroachers 2. To loot the surplus funds of temples for unlawful contracts and tenders 3. To take 16% of the temple income as fees for the lousy administration and useless audit 4. To ensure that the the true income from Temple, Endowment and Mutt lands are NEVER realized to make c@mm1e rascals, vote bank porukkis and missionary mafias happy 5. To weaken Hinduism by weakening the original purposes for which the temples were established

I had posted this tweet on 09 August 2026 - bringing to the attention of Hon'ble Minister for @tnhrcedept Shri @RameshOffcl how corrupt practices of the Temple Administration in Tiruvannamalai Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple - is helping one staff working in the temple office to secure "contracts" for her brother's construction firm. Repeated contracts given to "Aswini Constructions" raise a lot of questions that remain unanswered. I had complained to the Joint Commissioner in the temple about the unlawful denial of RTI information in this regard when I met him in Court. He promised production of information within two days. Two months gone - nothing happened. Now that very same " corrupt Temple staff" has been recommended for promotion by the Joint Commissioner even as an enquiry (probably a sham one) is going against her. The Minister should step in to ensure corruption is not only weeded out of Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple but also to make sure corrupt persons who thrived in the previous rule are not rewarded with promotions.
