Cold weather is hot coffee weather, and we have an exclusive @rubyroasters Ethiopia Gesha Village microlot on offer this week. Come in to try one of the great coffees of 2022. Open until 6 on Friday, 1 on Saturday. Closed Christmas and Boxing Day. Back to normal hours Tuesday#
Close, we will not be able to reopen until around noon on Wednesday. We will post as soon as we have a time. The coffee will flow again!
Finally! The city is replacing our broken HVAC unit tomorrow, and we will need to close while they do the work. Hopefully we will be back slinging coffee on Wednesday.
Did not see this coming. We will need to close at 3pm today, with multiple baristas stuck behind crashes on the Tampa side of I-75. We will be back to normal tomorrow.

After a two year (plague interruption) wait, we are restocked with a wide variety of @somachocolate bars. We were even able to bring in their limited edition holiday bars, so enjoy them while you can!
In spite of us repeatedly telling @grubhub that we will never participate in their service, they slammed us without permission and added us anyway. Please, never order Volta products through these predatory scumbags. They cobbled together an outdated menu against our wishes
We are evaluating the conditions at the cafe and the bakery and have decided to delay today’s opening until at least 11am. We will have an update on our ability to open at 10:30am. Staff are understandably concerned about family and friends along the southwest coast.
Oops. The baristas forgot to pick up a key to open today. Hopefully we will be up and running by 8:45 this morning.

New chocolates in from Hungarian maker Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé: Magic Houdini Hot Paprika, Mandarin Oil Milk Chocolate, and Pilsner Malt & Hops Crunch in Dark Chocolate.
Volta will be closing at 5pm today so Anthony can meet with city officials about the free/paid parking situation downtown. Back to regular hours tomorrow. Meanwhile, here are some madeleines we just put out:
Start your new year with tasty coffee! We are open now, with two offerings from Ruby Roasters on tap: Ethiopia Yabitu Koba, tasting like dark chocolate and a touch of grapefruit. On the silver grinder: Ruby’s Cheers, all bright citrusy flavors with a touch of mulled wine.
Volta is open until noon on the 24th for your last minute gifts of chocolate, tea, and tinned Conservas. We will be closed 25/26/27.
