Funeral prayers have been held for Bilal Mahmood, Ehtisham and Atif Noor, the Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee activists killed on Thursday by security forces in Rawalakot in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Latest reports indicate the deaths of two more people, one woman and a man, who lost their lives in firing by security forces near Rawalakot Bus Terminal.
“The protest sit-in near Omar Farooq Chowk has been surrounded by security personnel from three sides and the explosions can be heard. there is also a heavy deployment of security personnel at the sit-in demonstrations at Chandni Chowk, Naseem Town, and Faran Institute areas”, an activist in Rawalakot says.
