1/ we LOST A YEAR of time.
is what i would say, in order to get your attention. however, in our case we just started.
our app is a prediction markets app, specifically for the real world, the average joes ... not your crypto bros.

1. we are going to have the super app for crypto, it is retail friendly.
2. yes, we are trying to compete with both fomo and pump, its fine ...
3. we have predictions, memes and perps, considering yield as well (not cool obvs, but gud)
4. lastly, its obvs hard to compete with the native bridges that fomo and pump have pushed this week. given that we are 2 people working on rumo. however, we are more creative with our solutions.

rumo funded is coming earlier than u can imagine!
i believe funded accounts, that prop firms have done in tradFi, will become more popular in crypto. we already see perp funded accounts come out on the basis of hyperliquid.
however, we thought why not also do that for prediction markets?
prediction markets are growing at an alarming rate, which makes us wonder, will pm be as big as perps some day?
recently, i read an article about how leverage in prediction markets could unlock a whole load of new possibilities. i agree deeply with it, essentially right now pm as an industry is only operating at 1:1 ratio. however, once leverage is unlocked it can operate at 1:10 or even 1:100 ratios, this means even the small 60cent to 58cent moves will create meaningful profits to "predictors".
we at @tryrumoapp, are working heads down on unlocking this leverage. however, in the meantime we believe the best way forward is to allow users to try catch those small 2 cent moves. obvs for this they need far more capital, since why would anyone (human) go around betting $60 to make $2? maybe there are some humans who do, do it. but for the majority they would want more capital to allocate into it, whereby they also unlock greater profits.
thus, we are in the process of launching our rumo funded accounts. fyi, rumo funded and @tryrumoapp will be 2 different legal entities.
