Yesterday, I was honored to attend @solana Across Campuses at Ahmadu Bello University.
Hosted by @tsmboa.
The event was very educational, and they also shared a complete beginner-friendly tutorial on how to become a Solana developer.
Here’s what I learned during the event:
• How to build a Solana program
• How to connect a frontend to Solana
• How to deploy programs on-chain (Devnet and Mainnet)
• Security, composability, and privacy
• What ideas you can build on campuses and more.
During the event, I also got the chance to win the Kahoot game and came 1st!

Transaction V1 (SIMD-0385) is live on mainnet-beta.
Max transaction size grows from 1,232 to 4,096 bytes. ZK proofs, large multisigs, BLS signatures, and confidential transfers that required multiple transactions now fit in one atomic operation.
V1 also moves resource requests (compute unit limit, priority fee, loaded accounts data size, heap size) into the transaction header instead of compute budget instructions.
