I get hit up all the time on @CollX_App by people looking to sell in bulk. Sometimes I'm interested, but with 50-card lots, it isn't always so easy to arrive at a price! Here's a hack I used when doing one such deal on a big batch of Garbage Pail Kids cards. Hope the video plays ok! What I wanted to show is both how the discussion with the seller goes. Anyone who has used CollX knows that we have a powerful Deal negotiating framework, which actually preceded our marketplace. The ability to combine multiple cards into a deal and make an offer is killer. But often you need to have some back-and-forth with the other party, which is where our use of Stream chat comes in. The other thing I wanted to capture on video is how you can use CollX to help in figuring out what to offer. This is true whether you're negotiating deals at a card store, show, or the Lot scenario I had with the GPK cards. Scanning the 47 cards in the lot picture I got took maybe a minute, and I had a very confident appraisal of the value. Mind you, that's NOT what I offered! I started at around 50% off, and ultimately closed at 70%. Would be totally game to do more of these how-to videos if folks like them. Can't wait to show folks how they can use AI to seriously level up their card game on CollX! If you want to see some of my GPK cards, check out my Stack: hop.collx.app/ted-8twa
