The only two things I have absolute faith in: 1) the most revolutionary act anyone can do is to feed hungry people in their community. 2) art, in all its forms, from music, to fiber, to pain, to spoken and written word, etc., art will be what keeps our species alive.

Post-partum hemorrhage is the 2nd top cause of maternal death. It will become the #1 top cause of death if birth workers can't immediately access it. Reminder that Black mothers have a mortality rate 4 times higher than whites, and Louisiana is very Black (33%).
