Very ugly win tonight but as frustrating as it was to watch I need to keep in mind we were bottom 10 in the country in returning production & one of the youngest teams in the P4. We'll get better the deeper we get in the season. Go Hawks!!!!

Very bittersweet 10 years. Lots of fun wins but too many bad losses. Football was elite on defense but had almost zero offense while basketball had a top offense but barely played defense. Lots of positive changes & an uptick in recruiting makes me feel optimistic going forward
With isu fans recently trying to flex on Iowa for our worse era of football even though they were just as bad over the same span I thought it'd be a good time to remind everyone that Iowa has won more games since Fry took over in 1979 than isu has since 1950 but who's counting?
From 1935-76 Iowa finished ranked in the top 10 six times with 2 rose bowl wins & 3 conference championships. Isu had zero top 10 finishes, zero bowl wins & zero conference championships but yes they sure were scary!

Since nebby joined the conference in 2011 Iowa has won 60 of the 86 head to head matchups in football, basketball, wrestling & baseball. If they're big brother I guess big brother is a bitch!

Let's be real. There are 4 sports we truly care about in this state. Football, mbb, wbb & wrestling. Counting only those over that time Iowa has won the series 12 times. Isu has won it 2 times. The other 5 years were ties.
Nobody gives a shit about cross country, soccer & tennis
Out played & out coached when it mattered most. Give isu all the credit for perseverance! Good win clones!
Sidenote I'm glad I sold my tickets & at least got to enjoy the night at Kill Tony
