Boring Company building a tunnel from Long Beach to the Inland Empire so we can move containers on electric self-driving chassis at 100 mph average speed (versus ~10 mph today) would transform American logistics forever.
AI to classify products for customs compliance is a great use case but 1) requires lots of post training with real world compliance data and 2) by law requires a human in the loop to use the classifications for U.S. Customs.
Flexport offers both with our new AI Classification engine: After you use our AI to classify a product, we created a built-in workflow to send the classification to a licensed customs broker to review and sign off (or suggest a change).

WATCH: The first images of the vessel Wine Trader, reportedly struck by two drones in Romanian territorial waters, have emerged. The footage shows damage to the ship’s upper structure.
Romanian authorities are conducting a rescue operation, but extremely rough seas are preventing rescuers from safely reaching the four crew members still aboard.

In the civil war the North invented a repeating rifle that could fire 7 rounds before needing to be reloaded, but they only gave it to their elite cavalry units bc they were afraid they'd waste too much ammunition.
Lincoln used the rifle himself and intervened to ensure it was rolled out to the entire army as soon as they could.
Lesson in there for AI companies trying to push more tokenmaxxing.
Today I took a Waymo to work instead of letting my Tesla drive me. Took twice as long (not even counting the wait). The routing was insane and the driving soooo slow.
