Those who love old governance can keep using their banks & brokerages & fiat. Those who think they can invent new kinds of governance that are better than security protocols can go do Tezos, EOS, etc. No straightjackets involved, just choices. No need to bother us with them.

There's nothing inherently wrong with copying. It allows for improvements and avoidance of the early mistakes pioneers made.

Bitcoin is the manifest destiny of money.

😀 not surprised you said that!
I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity....

Cryptography is a tool of war first and foremost. That is what it was developed for. Try to deeply consider why this is at the center of bitcoin and what sort of value proposition this offers against tyranny. Have a happy and safe independent’s day!

If this is any consolation to #dPOS bagholders, @justinsuntron, @breitwoman, @bytemaster7 and @BrendanBlumer thank you for supporting their lifestyle. Honorable mention goes to @BoschGlobal for believing in #tangle. $IOTA foundation are legendary scammers.

All the people who bought into #dPOS lies will have to soon realize that they've been screwed - it's more of a "delegated proof of authority", and Libra provides better tech and more "trustworthy" node operators than any #dPOS cryptocurrency.

Totally aware of how forks work and was just making fun of the people who call on-chain governance some kind of panacea to all governance issues.

True. Dune won’t be the first fork of #tezos

Dear @ArthurB, why @TezosFoundation doesn't fund @Liquidity_Lang development? Making liquidity a proprietary software will stop bringing developers to Tezos, and I think this will slow down the entire #Tezos ecosystem

Apologies to @tzlibre team for calling you guys a joke; although I don't agree with how you made this public, the mistake regarding @KukaiWallet and your ongoing attitude, I respect the outcome of the situation and am glad the Tezos network is more secure now.

Hello! Long time, no speak. Credit where it's due: Thank you for pointing out this vulnerability. I know some #tezos wallet providers would have preferred responsible disclosure, but nevertheless.

I know you people are a little guarded when it comes to these guys. But fairness requests to honor that they have a point. Our wallet is much less vulnerable since we deliberately don't expose public nodes, but still... Public documentation of operation formats would cure this.

At the Computer History Museum: The Internet community was nimble... but it scared off some potential adopters because nobody seemed ”in charge”

I agree the bribery attack is being seriously underestimated, but let’s see where #tezos goes.

I don't understand why there are protocols implementing oppression of the majority over the minority, and why so many people are joining such networks...

Wow a promoted tweet that is interesting! Loving the irony of the governance platform once again collapsing into a governance mess.
