Gratitude list, Day 7: ordinary days. Not every good memory comes from a big trip or a milestone. Sometimes it’s a small moment you almost overlooked. 🙏 What’s one ordinary thing you’re grateful for today?
My dad, John Brewer, won Paralympic gold in the marathon in Seoul in 1988, plus silver in the 800 and 1,500 meters. 🥇🥈🥈 That's the guy I got to call Pop. A thread on the grit that raised me. 🧵
Before the accident he was a surfer, and the ocean never stopped calling him. In 2008 his high school buddies brought him back to the water with a new way to ride. 🌊🏄

Old Town Square in Prague, with Týn Church watching over the square. 🇨🇿🏰 Standing there, you feel centuries of footsteps under yours. What’s a city square you’ve stood in that still lives in your head?
Gratitude list, Day 6: small mercies. Getting up early with my son, walking a wide-open beach at low tide, and finding that perfect sand dollar. 🙏🐚 None of it makes the highlight reel, but mornings like that hold a whole year together. What’s a small mercy you’re grateful for today?
Some of the best answers I've gotten in prayer didn't show up as lightning. They showed up as a quiet nudge, a verse I needed, or a friend who texted at the exact right time. 🙏 The Lord still speaks. We just have to slow down enough to hear Him. When have you felt that quiet kind of answer?

Blarney Castle in Ireland, standing tall under a perfect blue sky. 🇮🇪🏰 Legend says the stone up top gives you the gift of gab. What's a place you've visited that has a legend everyone asks you about?
Gratitude list, Day 5: the people who pray for me when I don't even know it. Finding out later that someone had my name on their list for weeks still gets me. Quiet faith like that holds a lot of people up. 🙏 Who's been on your prayer list lately?
LEGOLAND Billund, Denmark: the original LEGOLAND, just down the road from where LEGO was born. 🇩🇰🧱 Even the spiders are built brick by brick! Walking through those gates made me feel like a kid again. What LEGO set is at the top of your wish list this year? twicebuiltbrick.com @TwiceBuiltBrick
Queen Christina's silver throne in the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden. It was made for her coronation in 1650 and still sits in the Hall of State. 👑🇸🇪 Standing there, you can almost hear the trumpets. What's the most jaw-dropping room you've ever walked into?
For 40 years I didn't know the whole story of where I came from. Learning the truth was hard, but it brought something I didn't expect: peace. ❤️ If you've just found out you're donor-conceived, you're not alone. My DMs are open.
Gratitude list, Day 4: the friends who check in for no reason at all. No agenda, just 'thinking about you.' Those little texts have carried me through more hard weeks than they'll ever know. 🙏 Who's someone you should check in on today?
Ether 12:27 has carried me more than once. Weakness isn't the end of the story. When we bring it to the Lord with humility, He can make weak things become strong. 🙏 What verse do you keep coming back to when life gets heavy?
