🚨#EEG researchers AND research participants, PLEASE help make EEG more inclusive and equitable by filling out and retweeting this ~10 min survey: hellobrainlab.com/research/e… designed by @HelenJHuang, @motherofneurons, @ucfbrainlab towards resources for working with diverse hair!

Thanks to the 70 wonderful souls who have done the EEG-hair survey so far. Let’s get to 500! Heck, 1000!
For the good of science and #EEG research, it’s just ~10 minutes. How many EEG studies involve having no electrodes in your hair? This one!

We just got a @LightSpeedRehab system in the lab! Sometimes, you just need a little lift.
Great idea for a lab meeting! #NeuroRacism #EEG
Any EEG researcher or person who participated or has just thought of participating in an EEG study, can do the research survey RIGHT NOW!!

Congrats to Jinfeng Li on his first first author journal publication! Imagine wearing a super thin EMG electrode for a whole week without ever taking it off. How good are those signals day after day during walking and other lower limb tasks? mdpi.com/1424-8220/20/17/484…
We’re excited for #BlackInNeuroWeek!!
Get excited, y'all!! #BlackInNeuroWeek coming soon to TL's near you 🤩 mark your calendars for July 26 - August 1! Also, follow @BlackInNeuro 🧠
We learned that there are a lot of journal articles and resources related to racism in STEM - obviously much more than one can be read in 1 day.
We will be part of #ShutDownSTEM tomorrow. During this pause in our research, we will educate ourselves and develop an action plan that includes accountability so that we can actively contribute to efforts to address systemic racism. No excuses, for ideas shutdownstem.com/

Our latest #preprint by @shirazi_en & @HelenJHuang. They compared reliability of different digitizing methods & effects of digitizing reliability on source estimation uncertainty.
Source estimation uncertainty was quantified using both spatial metrics & Brodmann areas.
