2029 Jace Dunn stood out at the UEC (Underground Hoops Exposure Camp) with his natural leadership and ability to impact both ends of the floor. Dunn showed the qualities of a strong lead guard, taking charge of the offense while balancing his own scoring with creating opportunities for others. 2030 G Emory McIntyre continues to prove why he’s one of the top young prospects in South Carolina. At the SCBCA Live Period, the Daniel product showcased his complete skill set, impacting the game on both ends of the floor with his poise, feel, and versatility. McIntyre consistently made the right reads, controlled the pace, and displayed a mature understanding of the game well beyond his age. His ability to create for others, knock down shots, and make winning plays stood out throughout the weekend. Defensively, he competed with energy and showed the ability to guard multiple positions. The strong showing added to an already impressive summer for the 2030 guard and was highlighted by earning his first Division I offer from Piedmont College. 2027 Lucas Henry (Dorman HS) is one of the more underrated wings in South Carolina’s 2027 class. At 6’5”, Henry brings a valuable blend of size, skill, and basketball IQ that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. A true floor spacer with three-level scoring ability, Henry can knock down shots from the perimeter, attack closeouts, and finish around the basket. His versatility on the wing allows him to defend multiple positions while using his length and athleticism to disrupt opposing offenses. What separates Henry is his feel for the game. He plays with pace, makes the right reads, and consistently puts himself in positions to help his team win. Add in his rebounding ability and willingness to do the little things, and it’s easy to see why college coaches should have him firmly on their radar. Lucas Henry continues to prove that he’s one of the state’s most overlooked prospects, and his stock should continue to rise as more people take notice. #UHOOPS #SCBasketball #DormanHS #ClassOf2027

2027 Aden Bruton-Smith made his presence felt on the defensive end with an impressive showing for Dorman High School. The lengthy, active defender consistently disrupted opposing offenses, using his instincts, toughness, and effort to make life difficult for ball handlers and scorers throughout the game. Bruton-Smith was locked in from the opening tip, applying pressure on the perimeter, jumping passing lanes, and rotating effectively as a help defender. His ability to guard multiple positions stood out, as he showed the versatility to switch onto different matchups without giving up an advantage. Beyond the steals and deflections, his energy set the tone for Dorman. He competed on every possession, communicated well, and played with a motor that impacted winning. Defensive performances like this may not always fill up the box score, but Aden Bruton-Smith proved that his value goes far beyond the stat sheet.

The combo guard showcased his versatility by playing on and off the ball, creating opportunities for teammates while remaining a scoring threat himself. Epting displayed a strong feel for the game, making smart reads in transition and operating effectively in the half-court.
