With the celebrations of GOG’s 16th Anniversary, we are thrilled to announce our new initiative.
We’re launching the GOG Preservation Program – an official stamp on classic games that GOG has improved, with a commitment of our own resources to ensure their compatibility with modern systems and make them as enjoyable to play as possible.
This initiative was created to make games live forever and once again bring the utmost attention to what the center of our work has been for the last 16 years: video game preservation.
We begin with the re-release of 100 classic games from our catalog with updated, improved, or quality-tested builds, including masterpieces like Heroes of Might and Magic® 3, Resident Evil, and Diablo+Hellfire.
Visit our website dedicated to the Program to learn more: bit.ly/PreservationProgram
If you’d like to read more about the initiative right here, please join us in the comment thread below.
I am still active but somewhere else right now. 😉

Sometimes all you have to do is to restart docker desktop! 😅😌

Haha, you don't want to get these email especially if the project is in production 😅😅

January 2024 was groundbreaking for my solopreneur journey. I have focused more on my second account @notionself but it is still me 😁
I am writing more in the post below 👇

January wrap-up 📅🎉
This month was my most successful so far.
From the middle of the month to the end I earned more than $650 and got more than 3000 views.
This gives me confidence and I feel like I really started my solopreneur journey. ☘
My X profile also started to grow and from 10 followers I moved to 150+. Individual posts also had good traction.
I also tried to post to Reddit which was a huge surprise and wow for me. My post wasn't removed by moderators and got over 1000 upvotes instead 🤩🤯
BTW Reddit is now my main source of traffic. Try it too, but be careful with direct self-promotion.
All of this happened thanks to the one Notion template. Habit Tracker with unique activity charts built directly with formulas.
It started with this post teapawt.net/notionself/statu… (thank you @MatthewNotion 😁). Instead of trying to create something new and unique I decided I will make something very common but what almost everyone wants. The habit tracker.
But I did it my way. I remembered a mobile app I was using for some time a year ago - @HabitKit by @SebastianRoehl (thank you for inspiration). And I got the idea if it is possible to create something similar directly in Notion ... and yes I found out a solution! And it appeared I hit the bull's-eye.
I am happy and very grateful for all of this. 🙏
And special thanks to @Kevechino as he helped me and supported me a lot along the way. 🤝
He inspired me to post on Reddit.
----------------------------
As the conclusion from all of this. If I can do it, you can too! Don't try to always make something original. Don't have to over-complicate. Don't be afraid of crazy ideas :). Engage and make friends here.
Thank you all 🙌
Sales analytics??? 🤔
I am looking for a service to unify all my sales records of digital products (and subscriptions later) from platform like @gumroad, @lemonsqueezy etc.
Where I can see analytics like how much have I earned and other charts. Don't know what is the proper term for this so I haven't found anything useful, only marketing or CRMs tools which focus more on individual customer pipeline.
Do you use something except built-in tools of the marketplace platforms?

The first money I earned in my solo journey just came to my bank account. My perspective how to earn money has changed a lot in the last month and this confirms that. It's a great feeling. #buildinpublic

When you realize the 10% is actually 22%.

Not everything is as it seems 🤔
@Gumroad, be transparent with your fees.
I don't care what payment services you use. Your promised 10% are actually 12.9% + $0.30 per transaction which for smaller prices ($2.5-$5) makes it even more, 22.3% in my case 🤯

I've realized I am not building a template anymore but an application. I love it.

Shipping quickly is much more fun! 🥳
I am now splitting my time between Homepage Gallery and Notion templates. Building a Notion template is much faster than new features to HG.
Each template is like a small project by itself so it feels good as you release new complete product every few days.
So I am now spending a more time on Notion templates than on HG. Hope I will be able to balance it better soon.
Do you build multiple projects too? Do you struggle with balancing time between them?
