Why no on 6? Lifelong Republican from the most red part of the country and I’m voting yes on it. Just like myself and pretty much every other Missourian voted No on Amendment 4 in August. It was literally going to do the exact opposite of what our leadership was telling us and the people of the state (80 percent) said no. Vote how you want but don’t trust some PowerPoint slide without doing your own research.
Hi @MoFarmer63 ! I can’t respond directly because @SpeakerTimJones blocked me. My position is I wish there less abortions. However, that’s not going to happen because women don’t have healthcare, there is no guarantee the will have an income, they may not have education. So until we fix the reasons why people get abortions, we should not make it illegal.
The only way to save the mother is performing an abortion. Also sometimes if a women miscarries they have to remove the dead fetus, or the women will get sepsis and die.
Should the people who run the DMV be the ones to decide what medical procedures are allowed? Sometimes certain pregnancy complications will result in the death of the mother. Ectopic pregnancies are when the fertilized egg embeds outside of the uterus. There is zero chance the baby can grow and the mother would die.
I also have philosophical issues with the government controlling our bodies like that. I don’t know think they should be able to execute people either.
