Spent a bunch of tokens over the last few weeks building a fully procedural New York simulation.

It's only 784KB gzipped and the code is on github, so you can do whatever you want with it ✌️
‘you can see everything’ is proof that not everything you film deserves to become a movie.
three hours of painfully boring, self-indulgent nonsense pretending to be profound. a thin plot buried under an endless parade of random, pointless scenes.
i get the ambiguity, the conflicting perspectives, the whole who’s telling the truth thing. it’s just not that deep. feels like they filmed a bunch of random stuff and decided to release it all because why not.
genuinely baffled by the hype. is the bar really this low?
2/10, and that’s generous.

claude duet is incredibly well done & thoughtfully designed. some thoughts:
- i love the fact that is is separate app for now.
- the to do list design is very intuitive & it’s nice that it spawns asks into tasks.
- i love being able to pin various artifacts in my tab bar.
- nit: does not have an iOS share sheet implemented on the app so i can’t directly share with it just yet.
- proactive aspect is on point, it doesn’t feel overwhelming.
- opus 5.5 is absolutely ridiculous.
- it’s very work focused which makes a ton of sense.
- i wish it wouldn’t ask me so much for permissions on even tiny things (i trust ai more than 95% of ppl).
- the web version is barebones, not much there as of yet. cannot even see my tasks.
the (continued) implications for how we work, how companies operate, & how organizations are structured are enormous.
my lord.
the absolute key to winning the dating market is understanding the culture. nothing shows a lack of it like a company trying way too hard to be provocative & "cool" while ignoring its users.
Replying to @paularambles
This company is so bad at marketing it’s painful. Every weird stunt gives people another reason not to download the app. They’re basically running campaigns against their own product.
Like it doesn’t even get 5k installs per month…

ever since the “Paid partnership” tag was added on here, mass paid partnerships have become such a strange launch strategy. you spend all this money to make it look like everyone’s talking about your product, then put a little disclaimer under every post explaining why.
planning a trip with mini apps is a 100x better experience than doing it over iMessage.
@ekuyda and the team really cooked here 🔥
Wabi 2.0 is live!
personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person
Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat
school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it.
a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets.
the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it
go start a thread with your people 👇
