You know truthfully it’s been hard to get into the smack talk with MSU this week. They are such bottom feeders that anything I could come up with actually put them in a better light than they actually are.

A loss against a top tier opponent should actually help you more than a win against a poor opponent. Assuming you were competitive.
For example. OSUs loss against Texas should actually help them more than if they played an FCS

For example. Iowa does not have a ranked win because Michigan was ranked at the time.
Truthfully the players probably know more than the coaches. They are there every day interacting with other students. I’m worried the coaches don’t understand the rivalry
