This is a great explanation, but the language is just bad to begin with right? You don't warn people about things that are currently happening. You alert them or something. "Warning" is just patently misleading.
All of you in a Winter Storm Warning or Ice Storm Warning, remember this simple analogy:

tbh, if I had billions of dollars and legions of fans ready to defend every one of my bad decisions, I'd be pretty tempted to just see how far I could push it. Just Sayin.

Is Justin Trudeau's hotel room driving up rent prices? People are asking these questions and more! / s
Replying to @PierrePoilievre
His hotel room is driving up rent prices?
I feel like my brain is a house where things keep breaking and I thought some of them were getting fixed, but it turns I just couldn't see them because the lights are broken too.

Comic book Gomez was not conventionally attractive, tv Gomez was goofy but kinda cute, movie Gomez is hot, but in a weird way. So to keep the trend going, Netflix Gomez should be played by Antonio Banderas.

Getting really sick of this whole "I don't know what to believe because Trump" business. Nope nope nope. You don't have to believe unbelievable things immediately with no evidence. It's a really bad habit to get into. Don't know why this needs saying.

There's something atheists are fond of saying about religion: "If you can get people to believe irrational things, you can get them to do irrational things" This does not only apply to religion.
Not sure he ow accurate this is, be it the drone at the end has such Half-Life 2 vibes 😮
This👇is what chasing “Covid zero” leads to. People screaming from their windows in despair after being locked in their homes for days, with no end in sight. The virus can’t be contained forever. In Alberta, we have taken a balanced approach, and we’ve learned to live with Covid
Man, if you want your blockbuster movies to only involve one universe at a time, your options are rapidly becoming limited.
😬 Wow, I bet this was a reeaally productive workshop /s

It's actually not funny at all? Will Smith could have killed him with that slap. What if his hand had been full of bees and Chris Rock was allergic to bees and one of the bees stung Chris and nobody had an epipen. Not so funny now is it

Also, does anyone remember G.I. Jane? Was it not about a badass lady who joins the marines and cuts off her hair as a total power move? Which is basically what Jada did? Because that's the impression I got from the trailer.

I mean, I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and if somebody jokingly suggested that my life would be like a sequel to the inspirational documentary Unrest, I'd be like "Well, it's not shaping up that way, but thanks for the vote of confidence!"

It's not clear to me that the joke was *at her expense* is what I'm saying, especially by the standards of a roast.
I find myself wondering a lot about the degree to which Mariah Carey's Christmas album has come to overshadow the rest of her career. Like, if you play me a Bing Crosby song I've never heard before, I'm probably going to think it sounds like a Christmas song for a second.

Is Carey at that point? When young people hear Fantasy for the first time are they like "Why are they playing this music in June?"
