I just vetoed my first bill.
This bill would risk your retirement savings by making it illegal to consider risk factors MAGA House Republicans don't like.
Your plan manager should be able to protect your hard-earned savings — whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene likes it or not.

Thank about it. Are we (American society) more anti-abortions because we we are more accepting of unwed mothers than we were a generation ago?

This is dangerous and not who we are as patriotic North Carolinians. @MarkRobinsonNC's assault weapon threats are bad enough, but an elected official sworn to uphold the constitution advocating violent overthrow of our govt shames NC and puts our safety and our democracy at risk.
Great human!
Jimmy Carter, the oldest living former president in U.S. history, turns 97 years old today.

Or be an elementary teacher with no assistant, planning and teaching every subject! And no planning or bathroom times!
Wow! This just proves that many people are CLUELESS! No wonder there is so little respect for teachers. Others have NO IDEA of the EXTRA HOURS "volunteered" by teachers!

The evidence is clear: You’re far more likely to regret *not* getting the vaccine than getting it.
If you doubt that, you should consider the growing number of people who deeply regret not getting vaccinated.
Here are *46 articles* about them.

Can't believe this school year will be starting with the pandemic growing. I. Can't. Do. This. (But I will!)
What a shame that @NCSuperintendent is not a voice for reasonable teacher pay raises. Hard to fathom.
I’d like to thank the Senate for their hard work in passing a budget that does so much to boost North Carolina’s public school system.
Full quote and a list of educational priorities included in the Senate budget below. #nced

The Senate budget mortgages the future health and education of our people to the corporations and wealthiest among us ($13B tax cut). Just awful. A measly 1.5% raise for teachers next year after no raise last year? Thank goodness the budget process has a long way to go. - RC

Budgt amdt from Sen. Mike Garrett calls for raising NC teacher salaries by 10% over the next 2 years. He points to the large surplus that's available. He says the 3% raise in Senate budget is a 'slap in the face' to educators. #nced #ncpol #ncga dashboard.ncleg.gov/Calendar…
