Cuffing season is approaching, so here is my unsolicited advice for finding love.
1. Appreciate things as much as you can.
All the little things that typically go unnoticed in your day need to start receiving your love for life. A convenient green light, an extra-helpful service worker, a cute squirrel that lets you get just a little closer than usual. It is from your appreciation for life that the rest of your charisma will find its vigour.
2. Show and receive bids of affection graciously (and never stop).
You may find that this is easier earlier in a relationship, when you’re both “drunk on love,” but it is especially important when things aren’t going so well. If your date does something to upset you, communicate it and establish your boundaries, but please don’t hold it against them if they’re trying to show you that they’re sorry. Let things go. There is no love without forgiveness.
3. Learn each other’s love languages.
Your relationship is unique to you; learn how to express love in ways that make sense to your partner. Don’t compare yourself to other relationships, because what works for other people may not work for you and your partner. I believe the key to a successful long term relationship is rooted in a willingness to explore and refine a love language that only you and your partner would perfectly understand.
4. DO NOT BE AFRAID.
If you are attracted to someone, tell them. The worst thing that can happen is nothing. You never know how they’re feeling. This is honestly the easiest part, all things considered.
Good luck, have fun (important) and remember to communicate <3
The more I try to convince my girl to let me get a motorcycle, the more she looks into motorcycle accident statistics, and the angrier she gets every time I bring it up. At this point, I’m basically banned from getting a motorcycle.
I can’t believe this is even a little bit controversial. +1s are usually disclosed beforehand to the host so they’re invited. If you weren’t invited, don’t go?
🚨 Crisis Comms 🚨
never let a good crisis go to waste so this is a great opportunity to quadruple down on my most controversial take:
"don't show up to someone's house uninvited"
00:00 - I am quintupling down
02:06 - “that’s not our party, idk who you are”
04:12 - Don’t show up at someone’s house uninvited
05:15 - SF is really weird
09:04 - The problem with Partiful
09:41 - Reacting to @ad0rnai, @squirtle_says, @cosmos_raj and @Noahpinion
12:10 - The safety argument
Guys I’m starting to get chud fatigue
The prequels, at the end of the day, are about a young man trying to claim what is rightfully his. And he’s treated with suspicion, contempt, or even outright hatred because of it.
He wants skill, power, influence, order, hierarchy etc. and isn’t afraid to tell people that. He kills the guilt that he used to feel for wanting what he should have.
It’s remarkable how relatable all of this actually is for many young men. Made to feel guilt for who or what they are. Denied what is rightfully theirs by birth. Villainized by a weak, corrupted, aging Republic that has long outlived its usefulness.
Fortunately, everyone seems to be on the same page on this. We’re going to reclaim what is ours.
So far, every party I’ve gone to I’ve taken over the aux and just started playing songs I like listening to.
The right song at the right time injects pure energy into the party. Having the power to do so is awesome.
Dumb generalization + cope + annoying. A complete lack of self awareness is like a steroid for confidence.
Ngl “Chads” are kinda annoying. Not toxic ugly men but the handsome tall guys with a nice jawline and perfect six pack.
They didn’t really develop a personality so like they think sliding into ur DMs is flirting enuf. “Hey” UGH WHAT DO YOU WANT.
They don’t have good flirt game irl either cuz women just throw themselves at him so when you don’t do it they’re actually MEGA boring but still want ur attention.
You think Chad has crazy rizz skills like Leo in Catch Me if You Can? WRONG Nowhere near that level of smooth. 😩😩😩 Wish they were fun like that BUT THEYRE NOT.
They’re like …. really boring UNLESS they are autistic. And even then the autistic ones might still not know how to flirt but still want female validation so they burden you with their presence cuz they expect you to validate them for no reason.
MOST OF THEIR PRESENCE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A MAN AND THEYRE THE WOMAN CUZ THEY FLIRT LIKE SHIT AND ARE USELESS.
Tootie Frutti is some bullshit. Offensive to my ears. The music equivalent of Frank’s Red Hot gummy bears.
Girl moots I call upon you in this time of need.
Replying to @undonepotential
I don't believe that. If height doesn't matter then get a girl to say that in the chat
