Trade BTC, ETH, SOL, and Fartcoin on Hyperliquid!
Unit Protocol just hit a new ATH in TVL of $1.3B after users deposited over $550M worth of $XPL to Hyperliquid in just 2 days - that’s 3.7% of the total supply and 20% of the circulating supply.

Users have now deposited 162M XPL ($161M) to Hyperliquid, equal to 1.62% of the total supply and 8.76% of the circulating supply.

Spot $XPL volumes on Hyperliquid have already flipped BTC, ETH, SOL, and PUMP - making it the third-largest trading venue by volume, ahead of names like Bybit and OKX.
Even crazier: $XPL has also overtaken PUMP and ETH in total spot deposits, becoming the #2 most deposited coin on Hyperliquid after BTC.

Since spot $XPL officially launched on Hyperliquid 1 hour ago, users have deposited over 92M XPL ($69M).
That’s already 0.92% of the total supply and about 5% of the circulating supply.
Incredibly, Plasma’s TVL on Hyperliquid has already surpassed SOL, FARTCOIN, BONK, and SPX - all within its first 1 hour live.

Hyperliquid’s Unit surpassed $1B TVL in August (+1,529% since Feb).

.@unitxyz has recorded a whopping $3.2 billion in 24-hour volume, outpacing exchanges like Coinbase and Bybit.
This surge in activity is attributed to whale wallets exchanging over $2 billion in BTC for ETH.

Satoshi’s vision was a world of peer-to-peer electronic cash, without intermediaries. Since 2017 I had been looking for a way to trade BTC on chain with that same ethos, without compromising on the experience. I'm just happy it's here, on Hyperliquid.
Spot volumes on Hyperliquid reached a new 24h ATH of $3.4B. This was driven largely by growth in BTC and ETH deposits and spot volume, facilitated by @unitxyz.
This makes Hyperliquid the second largest venue to trade spot BTC across both centralized and decentralized exchanges, with $1.5B 24h volume on BTC alone.

As many have seen over the last few days, there are several very large wallets trading via Unit on HL. To be 100% clear, the user is unknown to us, and independently decided that this was the best decentralized venue for them to trade on. As of now they have sold 19663 BTC across the 2 entities ($2.22B) and bought 455,672 ETH ($2.19B) since they started 4 days ago. During this time Unit reached record 24 hour spot volumes of 3.2b+. This surpassed Coinbase and Bybit BTC spot volumes combined and is close to on par with BTC/USDT on Binance. Despite the very high load, the infrastructure and guardian network worked as intended; processing billions of dollars of deposits and withdrawals with zero downtime.
HL also generated approx $4,709,538 in fees in the past 24 hours. Unit contributed 20% of the buy backs via HL's portion of the spot fees ($941,907) during this period. In addition, Unit is also using 100% of the fees of its portion to buy back HYPE, effectively resulting in $1.88M of HYPE buybacks directly attributable to Unit spot trading.
Unit just processed a 26.2K ETH ($124M) withdrawal after completing a 1.02K BTC ($118M) deposit 7 hours ago, marking the largest deposit and withdrawal to date.
