The only thing stopping me from making a reference-by-reference breakdown thread of the new We Didn’t Start the Fire is 100,000 Swifties
Emphasizing to conserve energy. I was less animated in STL than I normally am at FOB shows because I was melting.

HEY! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!
So the next few days Fall Out Boy is going to be in Texas! Woah yay! But we are in the hundreds and it’s only getting hotter as the time goes on. I know Houston and spring are both under a severe heat watch currently, so here are a few tips!
There’s been multiple studies done showing that some people can’t help having a physical reaction to live music (goosebumps/crying) just let people live! Crying is cathartic!
We were talking about this on the ride home, how the staging for the TTTYG songs not just made the stage feel smaller but made the show feel more intimate 🖤

It’s a good song. It was perfect for the soundtrack. It shouldn’t have been on AB/AP, and it definitely shouldn’t have stayed on the setlist for 8 years. Like @goldxplated said, I’ve seen the crowd hype just die when it starts playing, multiple times.
Yes I missed my city’s Pride event but I missed it because I was attending a Fall Out Boy concert and that’s the same thing right?

Been seeing several comments about the show last night in Bonner Springs and how low energy the crowd was. For people not there, it was brutally hot and humid. Many people were excited but not moving around as much. Someone even got sick in the pit right before FOB’s set.
BTW Patrick sang “like nomads” instead of using the line in sophomore slump that has a slur, I was really wondering what they’d do if they did that live
