Grateful beyond measure to rejoin the team at @espn in a true full circle moment. Returning to where my maiden voyage as a broadcaster took place way back in the day (2003-10)! #Back2TheFuture #FullCircle #ESPN #ABC 🎙️🏀
Welcome back to two prominent and popular men's college basketball voices, who are returning to ESPN for the 2026-27 season:

Amazing words on the power of sports to bring us together as humans. Well said @Pontifex! Should be required viewing!
Pope Leo XIV to the student athletes of Villanova University and the University of Notre Dame:
“No one is born a champion, just as no one is born a saint. Rather, holiness requires a daily training in love. In this regard, Christians are called to run in the race of life, but the objective of winning an imperishable crown of glory.
I pray that the activities, which comprise your pilgrimage, especially your business, the tombs of the apostles, who gave their lives in defence of the faith, will serve as a reminder that our true goal, beyond emerging victorious in any one event, is to win the prize of everlasting life.”

Got the news this morning. So sad. Doug was a high school basketball coach in Illinois who eventually became a great college athletic administrator. A dear friend. He will be missed. 🙏🏼🏀

Doug Woolard, father of Chris Woolard on my staff, passed away last night. The world lost a great man. Doug was the athletic director at Saint Louis and South Florida. He would often attend Mass with me when we were on the road, most recently joining me in the Bahamas. He was so proud of his son Chris. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace my friend

Who doesn't love a thriller on Halloween? For us here at the HOF, that's an overtime thriller. 🎃🏀
Down 2 with seconds on the clock, 2009 Hall of Fame inductee and former NBA player Scott Skiles drains a prayer at the buzzer to force OT against Gary Roosevelt in the 1982 State Finals.
Nothing scarier or more iconic than clutch basketball under the bright lights at Market Square Arena. 👇
Happy Halloween from all of us at the Indiana Basketball HOF! 🎃👻

Real questions
- when the Pope signs an autograph does he sign his “ Pope “ name or his family name
- would you rather have His autograph or a Papal blessing
- over/under on number of autographs a Pope signs per year ?

I am very rarely at a loss for words, but the outpouring of support, love, and kindness today and over the course of my 34 years at @saintjosephs has left me in awe. I look forward to celebrating with friends and family at a game (will not be the VCU game!) this season.
