50 years ago today, the Hyde Amendment passed with bipartisan support from Congress and the White House. This law protects taxpayers from funding elective abortion at the federal level. It has been renewed every year since 1976 and has saved the lives of over 2.6 million preborn babies!

Our Catholics Vote No campaign is rooted in prayer and fasting. Thus, Bishop Burbidge is calling all the faithful of the Diocese of Arlington action! On Fridays, Bishop Burbidge asks that you pray the Stations of the Cross. And fast—which means only full meal and no meat.
On Sundays, he asks that you pray the Rosary and fast from social media for at least a few hours—perhaps before and after Mass.
Please entrust these efforts to the Lord’s amazing grace, so all that is just, right, and true may be done.
