#ViswanathandSons : During the pre release interview, I heard the team got some inputs from Jyothika and several random women during their so-called research. However, after watching the film, I feel like they most likely got those inputs and opinions from elite Savarna men and women, maybe in their own small circle. I was even pushed to a place where I started to feel the film would have been better if they had gotten opinions from even Sivakumar. It is painfully classist, problematic, irritating and totally unrelatable. The saviour mentality in almost every scene is nauseating and it is repetitive throughout the film. The positioning and treatment of working-class characters are highly insensitive. After a point, the film feels like a poorly made Hindi TV serial. Peak ragebait padam and there's not even one single moment to remember for me in this film. Easily Suriya's worst film in recent years, AVPL.
