It’s what people call “FACELESS PDF AUTOMATION BUSINESS” because you don’t have to show your face to market the product. AI does all the job.
But if you asked me what made the money…
I wouldn’t say AI.
I wouldn’t say the product.
I wouldn’t even say marketing.
The money was made before I created the product.
Because I found something people already wanted badly enough to pay for.
Then I built it.
That sounds ridiculously obvious.
Yet this is where almost everyone gets it backwards.
They start with ChatGPT.
“What digital product should I create?”
Then AI gives them 50 ideas.
They pick one.
Then:
“Write the ebook.”
Then Canva.
Then a sales page on SELAR or NESTUGE.
Then they launch.
And 0 sales.
Now they think:
“Digital products don’t work.”
No.
You just built something before checking if anybody wanted it.
You skipped the most important step.
You created first.
You looked for buyers later.
And AI has made this mistake even easier to make.
Because today, you can create almost anything in minutes.
AI can help you build the entire thing before you’ve even asked whether anyone wants it.
So the bottleneck isn’t creation anymore.
It’s knowing what deserves to be created.
That’s the game.
AI can help you create a product.
It cannot make people want it.
And that’s where a lot of people are about to waste a LOT of time.
They’re going to become incredibly good at creating things nobody asked for.
So if you want to make money selling digital products, don’t start with:
“What should I create?”
Start with:
“What are people already willing to pay for?”
Find the market.
Find the painful problem.
Find the existing demand.
Find what people are already spending money to solve.
Then build.
That’s the approach I used for the product that crossed $22,192 in 4 months.
I didn’t ask:
“What can I make?”
I asked:
“What are people already trying to buy?”
That one question changed everything.
And I’m going to break down exactly how I found the answer.

found a gumroad exploit that's basically free sales and nobody's using it
the related products hack
here's what most people don't know:
gumroad has a "discover" section that recommends products based on what people already bought
you can't control if gumroad features you
but you can hijack other people's traffic
the exploit:
step 1: find the top 10 sellers in your niche on gumroad
step 2: look at exactly what they're selling. price point. format. title structure.
step 3: create a product that's the obvious "next step" from theirs
they sell cold email templates?
you sell "how to personalize cold emails at scale"
they sell a budgeting spreadsheet?
you sell "how to automate your budget with free tools"
step 4: price yours slightly lower than theirs
step 5: use similar keywords in your title and description
what happens:
gumroad's algorithm sees keyword overlap
buyer purchases their product
gumroad recommends yours as "related"
you get their traffic for free
one guy i know does $4-6K/month entirely from related product traffic
he's never posted content
has zero followers
doesn't even have a social media account
just has 7 products that sit "next to" top sellers
he calls it "digital shelf placement"
same reason brands pay millions to be at eye level in grocery stores
except on gumroad it's free if you know the keywords
the real shit:
you can research which products get recommended together
buy the top product in your niche
screenshot what gumroad recommends after purchase
those are your targets
reverse engineer their keywords
build the "part 2" they didn't make
i mapped out the whole system. finding top sellers. keyword extraction. product positioning. title formulas that trigger the algorithm. the "next step" framework.

faceless accounts sell for 30-40x monthly revenue. that's not a typo
account making $1,200/month = $36K-$48K asset
account making $2,500/month = $75K-$100K asset
account making $4,000/month = $120K-$160K asset
you're not building a content page. you're building a sellable machine
the one i sold was doing $1,400/month with a $39 template in a niche i have zero personal interest in. meal prep for night shift workers. found the idea from a reddit rant with 400 upvotes
never showed my face. never used my name. never attached my identity to it
which meant when a buyer came along asking "can i take this over completely" the answer was yes. because the account wasn't me. it was just a system
personal brands can't do this. when you ARE the product the business dies when you leave
i kept the template. sold the account. still make passive income from a product attached to an account i don't own anymore
now i'm building my 4th one using the same process
find overlooked niche on reddit. validate demand. build one ugly template. grow 4 faceless accounts around it. sell the accounts. keep the product. repeat

real examples i screenshotted this week:

"someone please make a checklist for launching a store that isn't a 90 step nightmare" - 519 upvotes
"i'd pay for a swipe file of outreach DMs that don't sound like a robot wrote them" - 381 upvotes
each one of those is a $44 product that doesn't exist yet
the person who builds it first wins automatically. no competition. no audience needed. the demand is already sitting there screaming
i found one of these threads 4 months ago. built the ugliest google doc you've ever seen in one afternoon. no design. no branding. no sales page
still hits my stripe every single day and i haven't opened the file since
reddit users are brutally honest because they're anonymous. they don't perform for likes. they just vent about real problems with uncomfortable detail
twitter is where people flex. reddit is where people confess
confessions with 500 upvotes are product ideas with price tags already attached
