😂.
Carrick is very much a 'Spanish-like' manager and I think that's really exciting for United. He values 'technicians' enormously. A profile of player who aren't usually given their plaudits in England. It's going to be very different to what we've seen previously.

But why the board? They did incredible buisness in the summer
Ownership. Board. Players. Coaches. Failures everywhere. United are finished.

Why are they acting like it’s not been dark with him. Honestly this fanbase.
I don’t think people realise how dark things would’ve been for us if we never signed Bruno Fernandes.

Points per game and xPts per game. ETH got worse over time. Amorim got better. Carrick got worse. Ignore narratives. If you can’t acknowledge this at the most baseline of facts then you are just being purposefully dishonest.

Brown money = bad. Western money tied to wars, regime change and displacement, and/or betting empires built on exploiting societies most vulnerable = perfectly acceptable. Fucking hypocrite.
Manchester United are deep in trouble. Always finding out there more lows, a new rock bottom. The worst owners in football, with fans making it clear who is really at fault. I will always choose this over the club becoming a sportswashing play thing of a nation state trying to wash its reputation of different atrocities. Every single time. The club should never ever become that. We’ve seen exactly why & what that does to a club & its fanbase. So yes, it could always be worse. At least we aren’t City.

United need a disciplinarian coach, it’s always been the answer especially if the Glazers are going to remain. The culture has been bad for too long and you need to squeeze excellence from every single player in a militarism style considering recruitment isn’t going to be as quick as desired. The issue that leaves with the fanbase is that it’s always their favourites that tend to be in the firing line as they’ve benefitted from the “culture” over the years. Think of any major rebuild you’ve witnessed in football, the status of the players the manager moved on? Fans really need to get over it and realise the club is more important.

This time last year I really thought we were onto something. The results were improving and we were slowly getting rid of the rotten eggs, whether that be attitude or ability. Recruitment had been good in the summer and we had direction Now, we’ve maybe gone back 3 years

Best way to encapsulate it.
Manager 1: Met a team 14th ended 15th same season. Left the team at 6th the next season. Manager 2: Met a team 6th now in 16th. Probably leaving at 16th or lower. The delulu fans prefer manager 2 btw. Thats why this fanbase deserves what they're going through rn.

It’s not even about regretting it for years. Fans ignored the positives cos they couldn’t see past the 24/25 season and Mainoo. The positives that came from that appointment has been undone in less than a year, and we’re arguably in a bigger mess than before he arrived. We had an opportunity for this club to go in a different direction and finally work towards a full rebuild but chose to waste it and revert back to dysfunction. That’s the problem with United: forever in love with false dawns, forever wasting time.
The more I look at Manchester United’s current state, the more I think about Ruben Amorim. I genuinely believe he was the man meant to take us back to the top. He understood the problems, challenged the culture and wasn’t afraid to make unpopular decisions. He wasn’t perfect, but he had a vision. We gave up on him far too soon, and I fear we’ll regret that decision for years to come.

Sack him, hire him back as interim and maybe if he starts the season next year we’ll be in a title charge.
📉 Manchester United conceded 7 goals in the last 2 games against Como and Bournemouth.

I dunno why Amorim is refusing to profile his players correctly. Football is a simple game, play players in their rightful positions.
A centre back is playing at right back. A right back is playing at left back. A central midfielder is playing as a 10. A 10 is playing on the left wing. A right winger is playing as a striker. Manchester United Football Club…

There’s one thing being shit, but the goals we concede are honestly embarrassing. You don’t even see Sunday league teams concede goals like that.

As I have gotten older I am more in the “don’t sack a manager until a real low point is reached” camp. But Como away WAS that moment. I don’t understand why Carrick still got this game in the first place
