every architecture diagram is just a set of trade-offs tbh. Just design the trade-offs you can justify because lol, every decision solves one problem while potentially introducing another.

I make beats too, and I write them with codes (sonic pi). I recently sampled some stuff for a niche use-case, and got the folks working with me on this project to fall in love with it. I mastered it afterwards (first time mastering).

Yup. I resolved it, but I had to drop one ultrasonic sensor and work with two. These sensors are so precise that for the dimensions of what I am working with (10x6 ft or thereabouts), they easily suffice for our target functionality.

Super tired and sleepy. I have to travel today and don’t want to miss it. I stumbled upon a huddle that held me back for four hours, and it is still not resolved. I have two options: sleep—so I have a fresh brain to work with, or gather will and get this done with before 10am.

I’ve applied to 5 international programmes recently—the applications were hectic. Got the 4th rejection mail last week. I was very optimistic about that one, but it is what it is. The last one is pending. I got through to the 2nd stage, and I’m now waiting for confirmation.

Just came across another hate post towards Slawn’s latest painting. Makes me wonder when everyone became an expert in painting and art (generally)? I see something, I don’t feel it, I pass.

I remember doing 4/5 for a European company sometime last year. Was really painful. Imagine doing 3 rounds of tests and the final assessment was where I didn’t meet the required 70%. Got a 62, I think. I passed the first two, btw. 🙂 When I see shii like that, I just pass.

~2hrs ago. It’s much messier at the moment, with cables flying around. Had to re-solder the GND(-ve) cable to the perfboard, after attaching components everywhere and there is little to no space left. 😖

Added the LM2596 converter, tuned to 5V. Two of the modules that I am working with need 5V, not 12V, and this branch handles that power input.
