@utexocom Opens USDT Minting Beta! UniSat Responds First!
Twelve years after it started on Bitcoin, USDT is coming home.
On November 28, 2026, Utexo will officially bring USDT back to Bitcoin's RGB layer. Ahead of mainnet launch, the public beta is now live. As an official partner of Utexo, UniSat jumped on it immediately — updating our Bitcoin Signet testnet support, including USDT (Signet) swaps.
Here's what happens next. In this homecoming, Utexo focuses on issuing and minting USDT, while UniSat makes it truly flow within the Bitcoin ecosystem. Once the mainnet officially goes live, we will deploy wallet support first, and then move at full speed to enable USDT trading on UniHexa.
But right now, the beta is almost here. UniSat's testnet support is expected within 48 hours (October 25, 2026), together with the exclusive Titles Claim Event. Users can connect their UniSat wallet to participate in minting testnet USDT. Stay tuned.

Stablecoins might be seen as Bitcoin enemies, but they are actually useful to push the usage of Bitcoin itself.
RGB is the meta-protocol that represents a great scalability solution, opening the path for @utexocom to make USDT a reality on Bitcoin.
Let's keep building!

Tether-Backed Utexo Plans to Launch USDT on Bitcoin This Month
Tether-backed Bitcoin payments infrastructure project Utexo plans to issue USDT on the Bitcoin network this month. Co-founder Viktor Ihnatiuk said the company has obtained a commercial license and will provide APIs, SDKs and cloud infrastructure for exchanges, wallets and payment providers. Built on RGB and Bitcoin’s UTXO model, Utexo will support private USDT transfers, native BTC-USDT swaps and BTC-backed lending without wrapping Bitcoin.
USDT was first issued on Bitcoin via Omni in 2014, before Ethereum and Tron became its main networks. Utexo also plans to expand USDT support to the Lightning Network after its Bitcoin launch.

It's huge because the world's largest stablecoin (~$183B supply) is returning natively to Bitcoin via RGB and Lightning—where it started years ago—after being mostly on Tron and Ethereum.
This adds real dollar liquidity, fast private payments, and settlement rails directly to Bitcoin's ecosystem, boosting its use beyond just holding. Morgan Stanley talks signal possible institutional adoption for Europe and beyond, which could reshape how liquidity flows without leaving Bitcoin.
USDt's relaunch on Bitcoin runs on infrastructure @utexocom and @RGB_Hub have built. RGB is the settlement layer making it possible.

RGB is the one here. Utexo is rolling out native USDT on Bitcoin via the RGB protocol (client-side validation, anchored to BTC UTXOs) with Lightning for instant private transfers and USDT-denominated fees.
Taproot Assets is a separate Lightning Labs protocol that also supports USDT-style assets, but this "coming home" push with Paolo and Utexo is specifically RGB. Built on Bitcoin (BOB) is unrelated.
