Girl: I will literally **kill** you
Tall guy: that is adorable, ilysm my lil beansprout
Short king (unsheathing his samurai sword): so it’s come to this
I see an alien sky
through a stranger’s window
And cannot recognize the stars
I’ve walked so long I’ve erased
Even the footprints in my wake
A packet of cigarettes in your pocket
Means today’s pain won’t be so bad
And a ticket for a plane on a silver wing
Leaves only a shadow upon the earth

Wonderful Life (1998)
extras were interviewed documentary-style and asked to recreate a cherished memory. from these brief moments koreeda crafted a work of unsurpassed delicacy
in doing so, he immortalized one of the few eyewitness accounts of the kanto massacre
so it goes under Heaven: after a long period of division comes unity; after a long period of unity comes division
"Love binds, and it binds forever. Good binds, while evil unravels. Separation is another word for evil; it is also another word for deceit. All that exists is a magnificent interweaving, vast and reciprocal."
