Now feels like a pretty suitable moment to speak from the heart. This season started off exactly how I had hoped but it very quickly unravelled with tough luck and poor performances. It’s been the first proper season of my career where I’ve had more bad days than good.

Now, all I can promise is that for the rest of this season, and into the next one, I will be giving my absolute all to rediscover the performance I have been capable of producing for the majority of my career and fingers crossed a little bit of luck returns.
Thanks all 🙏

the guy who killed that model:

lando congratulating kimi ❤️
"first of all, just a massive congrats to him. he deserves it. he's been insane this year, and that's an understatement. congrats to him, especially at his age, 20 is pretty incredibly impressive."
"i'm very very happy for him. he's a lovely lovely guy. he deserves it, an incredible amount, and i hope, even though he's young, he goes out and celebrates it properly. but he's had an outstanding season, so just very happy for him"

lando's title defense hasn't gone the way we hoped, but he's still driven an incredible season in a car that's been notoriously difficult to drive and hasn't always had the pace to fight at the front!!
17 race weekends affected by issues, 1 dns and 3 dnfs, and yet he still managed to put together 3 poles and 2 wins. he's pulled some incredible performances out of a car that hasn't made things easy for him, and that deserves so much more recognition. so much of this season was out of his hands, and that shouldn't take away from what he's achieved.
we still have a few races left, so let's enjoy them with LN1 while we can. see you soon, number 1 🤍
