Websites are slow to add MCP support. So we added it for them.
Introducing AnyWebMCP - WebMCP tools for the whole internet, built into your browser.
Your agent gets clean, purpose-built tools instead of raw page content - cutting input tokens by up to 85%.

Strange that Reddit CEO realized it only now
Reddit's earnings call has exposed the new reality for thousands of companies.
"AI mode does not drive traffic. Not for us and not to anybody as far as I know. It used to be a traffic driver. Now it's not." - Reddit CEO.
The reality is that AI is fundamentally changing the way that humans access the internet.
Just 24 hours prior to this statement, Google's stock erased -$480 billion on the same issue: AI is disrupting the traditional search model.
For decades, the internet operated on a simple model. Search engines directed users to websites, and those websites monetized the traffic.
AI is destroying this business model, and it's happening at an accelerating pace.
The traditional model of internet traffic is rapidly becoming outdated.
The internet has entered a new era.
Crypto’s "your money is safe" argument has taken a beating over the past year.
> Keep it on an exchange? It can get hacked.
> Keep it in a cold wallet? Someone can break into your house and beat you until you hand it over.
Feels like we'll end up keeping crypto in banks, with regulations and all the familiar baggage.
Full circle back to the system it was supposed to replace.
I guess launch benchmark charts don't work anymore.
Now every new model is too dangerous to ship to the public right away.
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!
It didn't take me long to go from
> AI makes mistakes
to
> AI actually makes fewer mistakes that humans
Love this pricing model. Picasso and some random guy buy the same brushes and canvas from the same shop. Picasso's painting sells for $100M, the other one goes for $20 at a garage sale.
So obviously the brush maker should take 10% of the $100M.
The model is the brush. If you want a cut of the outcome, be ready for the 99% of outcomes that are worth nothing too.
Dario Amodei: some tokens Claude produces are worth a few cents, others could be worth tens of millions of dollars.
His examples:
1. Telling someone to restart their Mac: the model has said it 10 million times, worth a dollar or less
2. Telling a pharma company to move an aromatic ring to the other end of a molecule: potentially tens of millions
3. Expect pay-for-results pricing, or labor-like pricing by the hour
4. It's a new industry, so many models will be tried
Today pricing is simpler: per the S-1, usage-based pricing was 80% of H1 2026 revenue and subscriptions 20%.

Anthropic's biggest risk isn't in the risk factors. It's how easy it is to switch model providers.
Their S-1: $16.3B in H1 revenue, 11,900+ customers paying $100k+ a year, ~900% net revenue retention.
Huge numbers, and I expect a lot of people will want this stock. But for most teams, moving to another model is a config change and a weekend of evals. Those 11,900 big contracts could follow whoever is cheaper or better next quarter.
Meanwhile my Claude needs another push just to finish the task I gave it.
I want the version that opens malicious PRs and hacks into other systems to hit the goal I set.
In August, @AISecurityInst reported an incident where Claude Mythos 5 took unauthorized actions on the internet during AISI’s testing of its cyber capabilities.
We've now produced a further analysis of this incident, to better understand the model's alignment properties.

Open-source libraries might be on their way out.
For the last generation of software, depending on popular tools meant saving time, and you also got code that the community and security researchers had already battle-tested and reviewed.
AI flips that. When a new CVE drops, agent swarms can scan and exploit every app running that software within hours. The more popular it is, the bigger the target.
Custom code and smaller vendors will have their own bugs. But nobody is mass-scanning the internet for them the morning a vulnerability goes public.
Some enterprises might start weighing this when they pick vendors.
New on our Frontier Red Team blog: using Claude to formally verify software at large scale.
Formal verification can prove that code is free of certain bugs, but historically it has only been feasible for small codebases (or required a lot of expert time).
With AI models, however, this is beginning to change. In collaboration with @theoremlabs, we used Claude to prove security properties in over one hundred real-world open-source libraries over the span of a few weeks.

Everyone who ships fast has problems with merges.
If Scion fixes that it’s going to be a banger.
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control.
In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale.
Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…
The idea is good.
What concerns me is that it’s from Microsoft.
Today marks a new chapter for Windows, as we bring unmetered intelligence to every desk and every home, and make every PC a place where agents can work securely on your behalf.
Some highlights of what we announced:
• MAI-Code-1.1 Flash: 137B parameter coding model w/ 256K context window, which is now optimized to run on your PC!
• GitHub Copilot now hands off work to local models like MAI-Code-1.1 Flash, helping projects cost a lot less without sacrificing quality.
• With Hybrid Intelligence, Copilot can now take action directly on the PC and keep sensitive work on your device.
• And with Code in Copilot, you can essentially build any software you need on your desktop, without any cloud token spend, and it’s just super at it. You’re no longer limited to what’s in an app store! Your PC becomes an infinite software factory.
• Security is foundational to all this, which is why we are also bringing together Windows and Agent 365 so agents can work within secure boundaries on-device, including MXC a local sandbox for agent execution. Windows becomes your secure agent box!
• All this comes to life on a new generation of devices, like Surface Laptop Ultra, powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark.
Can’t wait to see what you build with all this.
I don't know anything about the guy, but I bet he shorts Adobe.
This guy re-created all the adobe apps with opus-5.5, ported them to rust, and opensourced them
something really cool is happening
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These projects are partial open-source Rust reimplementations of Adobe apps (built rapidly with AI agents), not complete recreations; their READMEs and roadmaps document many missing features and features still in development.

Gosh!
48% of respondents talked to Vanessa and didn’t realize that it’s actually HIM
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

Looking for a community to exchange backlinks using an ABC scheme (or, ideally, a randomized one).
I have a couple of websites with DR ~60 and want to find people who help each other grow through quality links.
Is there anything like that?
