If you cannot wait, trading is not for you. Today I will explain why most of trading is “waiting.” Short-term results are heavily affected by randomness, so we need to keep repeating consistent actions and let probability work through sample size. To keep following consistent rules, you need to “wait,” but many people cannot. Even when the market is not yet in a state where they should trade, they search for some way to trade anyway, or they regret it, thinking, “If I had taken that trade, I would have made a profit.” If your rules say, “Do not trade in this market,” then no matter how much the chart moves, you must do nothing. That is because it is not a trade you should take. You have done nothing wrong. In fact, you are doing the right thing. Yet you feel “regret,” and that itself is the real mistake. You mistakenly believe that making a profit is “good” and “correct.” That way of thinking is the “game of winning and losing” itself, the exact opposite of the “game of probability.” The moment you put “making a profit” ahead of following your rules, your failure in this uncertain world of trading is guaranteed. If you have properly tested in advance, through a large sample size, that your strategy has an edge, follow its rules no matter what. You cannot wait because your rules are not clear, because you do not understand the basic fact that the law of large numbers works on the large sample size you build by continuing to follow those rules, and because you still put weight on the win or loss in front of you. If you are clear about “if this happens next, I will do this,” you should know at least the minimum time the chart needs to get there. Obviously, a single one-hour candle takes one hour to form. For example, if you trade on the one-hour chart, there should be no need to stare at the chart the whole time. A scenario of “if this happens next, I will do this” is extremely important, and if your rules are not clear, you do not know what to wait for, so you cannot wait. People who cannot wait do not understand what trading is. You must keep acting exactly as you planned in advance. You need to wait as planned, skip trades as planned, enter as planned, and take profit or cut your loss as planned. Every one of these actions is made of “waiting.” Your only physical action is the “click.” If your actions are made of “waiting,” then the key is “the clarity of your rules” and “the scenarios you prepare in advance” based on those rules. A scenario is not a “prediction.” It is your plan of action. “If this happens, I will do this” is completely different from the prediction that “this will definitely happen.” You only have a plan, and you are not predicting that “this will definitely happen.” If things do not play out as your scenario says, you must not act. But many people cling to predictions and wishful thinking. Even though their original plan has been invalidated, they think, “It will definitely go up,” and never take the loss they should take, or they enter earlier than their real entry based on a prediction, even though it is not yet time to enter. Wait properly. Waiting is the foundation of trading. Everything in trading takes time. You have to wait for the right timing, wait until the right time to exit, and wait for the next trade. Building a large sample size takes time. Compounding takes time. Above all, maturing as a trader takes time. Trading is not something for people in a hurry, or people who want money right now, to make easy money from. If you trade with that mindset, trading is not for you. The more you understand trading, the more you will realize how much you have to wait.

There's no need to fear losses, as you can mitigate them through risk management. You fear losses because you attach your self-worth to trade outcomes. When you understand that risk management is your line of defense, there's nothing to worry about. Risk management is a skill, just like reading price is a skill. Most people spend all their time on the latter

🚨 THIS IS BEYOND ANYTHING CRYPTO HAS SEEN BEFORE. Binance has been hacked, with estimated stolen assets reaching as high as $6.3 BILLION, making this the largest crypto hack in history. And now the entire crypto market is crashing. Bitcoin has crashed below $77,000, dropping more than 6% as panic spreads across the market. Here's how massive the damage is: • $6.3 BILLION: Latest reported estimate of assets stolen from Binance across multiple blockchains. • $170 BILLION: Wiped out from the total crypto market capitalization following the news. • $1.39 BILLION: Worth of leveraged crypto positions liquidated in just 12 hours. For perspective, look at the biggest crypto hacks ever recorded: • Binance (2026): Up to $6.3 BILLION. • Bybit (2025): $1.5 BILLION. • Ronin Network (2022): $625 MILLION. • Poly Network (2021): $611 MILLION. • BNB Bridge (2022): $570 MILLION. • Coincheck (2018): $534 MILLION. • Mt. Gox (2014): Approximately $450 MILLION at the time. At the highest estimate, Binance's hack is more than FOUR TIMES bigger than Bybit and TEN TIMES bigger than Ronin. It's also bigger than all SIX of the other major hacks listed above COMBINED. And this happened at one of the world's largest crypto exchanges. 1. BILLIONS DRAINED FROM MULTIPLE BINANCE WALLETS On October 29, hackers gained control of several Binance hot wallets and transferred billions of dollars. • Around $3.3–$3.5 BILLION was drained from Ethereum wallets alone. • Binance 14 lost approximately $2.5 BILLION in a single transaction. • That included 167,464 ETH, 1.615 BILLION USDT and dozens of other tokens. • Binance 16 lost another 28,006 ETH alongside other assets. • Hot Wallet 34 was also compromised, with approximately $823 MILLION in USDC affected. • Additional funds were moved from wallets on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Bitcoin, Tron and other networks. The hackers didn't stop after the first transfers. They continued draining compromised wallets when new deposits arrived. 2. THE HACKERS HAD PREPARED THE ATTACK The attack began with preparations on October 28–29. • The hackers funded their operational wallet through Tornado Cash. • They deployed a malicious contract designed to drain assets. • They tested the attack on separate wallets before targeting Binance. • Around 20:20 UTC on October 29, the hackers began transferring billions from Binance wallets. After the theft, they split the stolen funds across different addresses, swapped stablecoins into ETH and moved assets between blockchains. 3. BINANCE'S WALLET SECURITY WAS COMPROMISED The hackers gained access to the private keys or signing authority of multiple Binance hot wallets. They used Ethereum's EIP-7702 feature to give a malicious contract control over Binance 14. The hackers submitted 50 signed authorizations covering consecutive wallet nonces. Once the delegation succeeded, they could repeatedly drain assets from that wallet. Other Binance wallets were drained through normal transactions signed using compromised keys. This wasn't some network hack. The hackers gained access to the systems controlling Binance's own wallets. The exact method used to obtain that access has not been confirmed. 4. AROUND $3 BILLION IN STOLEN ASSETS FROZEN • Tether froze more than $1.56 BILLION in USDT linked to the hack. • Circle froze approximately $823 MILLION in USDC. • Ripple reportedly froze another $200 MILLION. • Arbitrum's Security Council secured approximately $30.5 MILLION. • Other projects also froze assets connected to the hackers. Total frozen funds were estimated at roughly $2.5–$3 BILLION. However, a large amount of ETH, BTC and other assets remained outside those freezes. Binance temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals following the hack. The exchange confirmed it was investigating the security breach and said all customer funds were safe. The estimated $6.3 billion theft is equivalent to nearly 4.4% of Binance's $144 billion in assets under custody. Even the lower estimate of $3.3 billion would make this more than TWICE the size of the Bybit hack. The final losses are still being calculated because billions of dollars have been frozen. But the consequences are already extending far beyond Binance. This is one of the most devastating security failures in crypto history.

Central bank watchers now overwhelmingly expect not only a Fed rate increase this week, but a second hike before the end of the year

เทียบปี 2025 ทั้งปีที่ออกแค่ $108 พันล้าน แปลว่า เพิ่มขึ้น 2 เท่าทีเดียว เหตุผลคือ Big Tech ต้องเร่งสร้าง Data Center + AI Infrastructure ที่ใช้เงินหลายแสนล้านต่อโครงการ พอเป็นแบบนี้ หลังพึ่งแค่ Cash Flow from Operation มันไม่พอครับ ต้องกู้จากตลาด Bond ด้วย การที่ผู้ออกหุ้นกู้ Investment Grade ขนาดใหญ่มาแย่งเงินในตลาด Bond พร้อมกัน มันทำให้เกิดภาวะ Capital Scarcity หรือการแย่งชิงทุน พอเป็นแบบนี้ นักลงทุนก็หวังเรียก Yield สูงขึ้น ผลคือ Real Yield พุ่งสูงขึ้นตามไปด้วย --- ชนวนที่สอง US Fiscal Deficit ยังใหญ่มหาศาล รัฐบาลสหรัฐยังแบก Deficit ที่ 6% ของ GDP หรือประมาณ $1.9 ล้านล้าน และต้องออก Treasury เพิ่มทุกไตรมาสเพื่อ Roll Over หนี้เก่า และ Finance Deficit ใหม่ ในขณะที่ยุโรปและอังกฤษก็ออกพันธบัตรอัดฉีดงบกลาโหม + Infrastructure + Energy Security เมื่อเป็นแบบนี้ ก็ชัดเจนว่า มันทำให้ Supply ของ Government Bonds ทั่วโลกทะลักล้นเพียบเลยครับ ขณะที่ Demand มันไม่เพิ่มขึ้นตามในระดับเดียวกัน ผลก็คือ ทำให้ Yield สูงขึ้นตามไปด้วย --- ชนวนที่สาม ธนาคารกลางทั่วโลกหยุดอุ้มตลาดด้วย QT ในยุค 2020-2022 Fed + ECB + BOJ ซื้อ Bond มหาศาลผ่าน QE ซึ่งมันช่วยกด Yield ให้ต่ำติดดินมายาวนาน แต่พอตั้งแต่ปี 2023 เข้าสู่ยุค Quantitative Tightening = ธนาคารกลางไม่ซื้อแล้ว + ปล่อยให้ Bond ที่ครบกำหนดออกจาก Balance Sheet ผลคือ Supply ทะลักล้น และ Demand ก็หดตัว ทำให้ Yield พุ่งตามหลัก Supply-Demand --- Yield Curve Steepening ที่นักลงทุนต้องเข้าใจ ปรากฏการณ์ที่ผมว่าน่าสนใจที่สุดคือ Yield Curve Steepening แม้ CPI ล่าสุดจะออกมาตามคาด + ตลาดลดน้ำหนัก Fed Hike ทำให้ Short-term Yield ปรับตัวลง แต่ Long-term Yield กลับพุ่งสวนทางครับ ที่ตลาด React แบบนี้ มันเหมือนกำลังบอกว่า Term Premium (ส่วนชดเชยความเสี่ยงของการถือ Long Duration) กำลังพุ่งสูง เพราะนักลงทุนกลัว 3 อย่าง 1. Fiscal Deficit ที่ Unsustainable 2.

ICT didn’t invent shit, not a single concept the stuff he teaches has been documented in academic market microstructure papers since the 1980s liquidity pools = stop clusters. Larry Harris wrote about this extensively in “Trading and Exchanges” published in 2003. the idea that price gravitates toward areas where stop losses are concentrated has been studied for decades before ICT made his first YouTube video order blocks = institutional footprint analysis published in the Journal of Finance by multiple authors throughout the 1990s. the concept that large institutional orders leave identifiable marks on price charts is literally textbook material in market microstructure courses at universities fair value gaps = price inefficiency windows. this is market microstructure theory from the 1970s and 1980s. the idea that rapid price movement creates “gaps” in the order book that tend to be revisited is older than most of the people watching his videos displacement = aggressive order flow. any Level 2 analysis book from the last 30 years covers this. a large candle with high volume in one direction indicating institutional participation. groundbreaking? no. documented for decades? yes SMT divergence = intermarket correlation analysis. this has been used by institutional traders since at least the 1990s. comparing correlated instruments for divergence is standard quantitative analysis he renamed existing concepts. added mystical language. wrapped them in a narrative about “the algorithm” and “inner circle” knowledge. and convinced 500,000 people he discovered something new the concepts work. they’ve always worked. they worked before he was born. they’ll work after he stops posting what he actually did well: he packaged dense academic theory that normally requires a finance degree to access into language that 19-year-olds on YouTube could understand. he made market microstructure accessible to retail traders who would never read a peer-reviewed paper that’s a genuine achievement. but it’s a MARKETING achievement. a communication achievement. not a trading discovery and here’s why the distinction matters: because people think he invented these concepts, they also think he owns the “correct” interpretation. so when their version of “his” model doesn’t work, they assume they’re doing ICT wrong. they go back and rewatch the videos. they join study groups to decode his latest cryptic tweet. they treat his words like scripture that needs to be interpreted correctly instead of realizing: these are 40-year-old market principles that need to be ADAPTED to your own market, your own session, your own risk tolerance, your own execution speed there is no “correct” ICT there’s market structure. it’s universal. it’s been here since markets existed and the faster you stop trying to decode one man’s YouTube channel and start building YOUR version of these principles based on YOUR backtesting data - the faster you’ll be funded the concepts are free. they’ve always been free. they were free before he existed what’s not free is the discipline to execute them. and that’s not something a YouTube video can give you regardless of who made it

Profitability is found in the work you're avoiding. Backtesting, journaling, reflecting. I would make a bet that less than 10% of the trading population actually journals their trades. Not saying you have to do it forever.. but how do you know how well you're doing, or what to improve on, if you have no books.

Revenge trading is so dumb You lose a trade, or a few trades And your answer to that lost money is to completely disregard your rules and lose even more You’ll never make progress in trading until you realise that this behaviour will only ever HURT YOU When you face a loss that gets you emotional, you HAVE to learn to walk away from the charts Go for a walk, go play a sport, go to the gym Just do something to clear your head so that when you do get back onto the charts you think with logic instead of emotion People will mess up months of progress in a day due to revenge trading It’s terrible
