We have seen a few other charities and organisations detailing their Christmas closures. We know Christmas and New Year can be a difficult time for some people, so we'll be keeping an eye on our messages in case people need us.
Today some of our veterans had an away day to @PirateGolfHull followed by a carvery lunch which turned into a bit of a food challenge! We had a great time. If you're interested in joining us in the future drop us a message.
We know this is a time of year which can bring lots of difficult memories and feelings. Valkyrie is open to veterans from across the UK. Reach out if you need us.

Quick reminder that we're holding a veterans day at our base camp in Keelby, Lincolnshire tomorrow (28th) 1000-1600. Free to attend for veterans struggling with mental or physical health, addictions, transition or practical problems. Message for details.
We'll be holding a Veterans Event on 28th Dec 1000-1600 for any veterans feeling lonely or just had enough Christmas. We'll be checking messages throughout the Christmas period to offer support to anyone who needs it or wants location to visit on 28th.

The first ever Veterans' Survey has been launched today.
Veterans' Affairs Minister @JohnnyMercerUK calls on ex-military personnel to fill in the survey, which takes less than 30 minutes.
