Every attempt to fix email in the last 20 years has focused on the same thing.
Sending faster. Replying faster. Inbox zero.
But that's not what personal email is. You're not trying to reply to your flight confirmation. You're trying to know what time to leave. You're not replying to the package email. You're trying to know when it arrives. You're not replying to the school newsletter. You're trying to know if Friday is a half day.
Personal email isn't communication. It's information.
