A few years ago, we @TSS_Lab wondered if Ac/Ds transposition could be harnessed to perform transient, F0 experiments in #zebrafish. We ended up with a toolkit to express enhancers, and sgRNAs for CRISPR...pleased that this story has now found a home with @BiologyOpen #OpenAccess
It’s #MethodMonday - this week we are showcasing the work of @van_cmorr and colleagues as they repurpose the Ac/Ds maize transposition system.🧪🔬🔓 Read the full #OpenAccess article here: journals.biologists.com/bio/…

The comprehensive atlas of developmental regulatory elements in zebrafish is published today in @NatureGenet nature.com/articles/s41588-0…. In addition to the BioRxiv submission xitter.cf/daniocode/status/14253… in this paper we added further resources and results. (1/n)
DANIO-CODE is proud to share our findings and a huge multi-genomics resource on the regulatory elements in the development of #zebrafish. We analyzed 1,802 previously (un)published sequencing data sets across 38 developing stages and 21 assay types. (1/n) biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

New guidelines!: "When submitting a molecular biology manuscript, and when the paper is finally accepted, the authors must measure their epigenetic clock so that the reviewers can estimate by how much their lifespan has been shortened and whether they already suffered enough"
