We are thrilled to share that Ayasau is recovering well following a horrific car accident in Kaduna.
We were able to fund Ayasauβs initial surgery, but unfortunately, we didnβt have the resources to cover the subsequent removal of the metal rods in her leg.
Thankfully, a generous donor stepped forward and contributed 450,000 naira (Β£250) to cover the procedure. Ayasau is now recovering well and is firmly on the road to a full recovery.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. π¬π§π€π³π¬

We are thrilled to announce baby Gabriel's brain surgery was a success and he is on his way to making a full recovery!
Sadly, whilst pregnant, Gabrielβs mother was forced to flee her village in Kaduna, Nigeria due to bandit attacks, and the circumstances surrounding their displacement contributed to complications during his birth.
However, thanks to your generosity we have given Gabriel a second chance at life, and we wish him and his family all the very best for the future.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to fund the surgery Ayasau desperately needed - helping to prevent her from suffering a permanent deformity in her leg.
Ayasau and her mother were seriously injured in a car crash near Kaduna when another vehicle crashed into the minibus they were travelling in.
Like many Nigerian Christians living in areas affected by terrorism and banditry, Ayasauβs family already lives with the constant fear and insecurity that comes with the ongoing violence. The wider security situation also has a devastating impact on everyday life, including travel on the roads outside the cities.
When we met Ayasau, she was in a bad way. Her wounds had become infected, and her family simply could not afford the vital surgery she needed.
Thankfully, your support meant we were able to step in and help.
We are honoured to announce that Ayasauβs surgery was a success, and she is expected to make a full recovery. β€οΈ
Thank you to everyone who donated and helped give this young girl the chance to recover and get her life back on track.
This is what your generosity makes possible.

We sponsored an anti-drone net device for a medical team who evacuate casualties from the Ukrainian frontline.
We hope our donation will help keep these heroes safe, whilst they continue to save lives!
One of our volunteers in Ukraine was caught in the middle of a Russian drone attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Multiple drones targeted the area, which is used as an evacuation point for those wounded in the war.

Thanks Andy and Olga for orchestrating.
We sponsored an MRI for baby Gabriel in Kaduna. Doctors have been trying to establish what was wrong with Gabriel, but as his family were unable to afford an MRI, treatment could not progress.
Thanks to your generosity we are able to sponsor the MRI and medical professionals have determined baby Gabriel has an abnormal growth in his brain that requires surgery.
We will keep you updated as his condition progresses.

π¨Success Updateπ¨
Thanks to everyone who donated to our efforts to help six-year-old Success in Kaduna.
Thanks to your generosity, weβve been able to move Success to a much better hospital, where she has begun treatment for her infection and is undergoing bone realignment to help correct the deformity in her foot.
Once she is able to walk with her foot flat on the ground again - she currently has to limp on tiptoe - she will be able to undergo the operation she needs on her ankle to restore proper function.
Thank you once again to everyone who donated, both through the Crowdfunder and privately. Your generosity has not only made this treatment possible, but has saved us from having to tell Successβs mother that we couldnβt help her.
We genuinely cannot express how grateful we are for your support. Thank you.
Successβ medical costs are ongoing and we will continue to update you throughout her journey.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to our efforts to help Success save her foot - we have raised almost half of our target!
Our team in Kaduna drove Success to another hospital today and have now booked her in to transfer there on Thursday, where she will undergo a full medical assessment. Sadly the previous healthcare Success received was inadequate and may have made her condition worse.
We will update everyone again when we have the results of the medical assessment. Please do keep sharing the fundraiser so we can afford the treatment Success so desperately needs!
