I hope your weekend goes well

Mozambique is opening a regulated online casino market
from 20th november:
- state license
- 26% local ownership
- payments in meticais
- data kept in-country
built for operators who go fully local, bad news for offshore grey traffic
another African market goes regulated
brazil banned igaming last month. one operator already got its license back in court
cda gaming paid r$30m for a license valid till 2029, then the government just shut everything down and kept the money
the appeals judge literally called it confiscation in the ruling
i'd call it theft
Nova Scotia could be the next Canadian province to open its online gambling market
officials are reviewing models like Ontario and Alberta as they consider allowing more private operators
right now, Atlantic Lottery remains the main legal online option
Canada regulated iGaming map may be getting another expansion

You already know what to do, you just don’t do it
Why that happens, and how to start: make the step tiny, set an exact time, and treat the first try as a test

Posts go viral when people have something to add in their quotes, so share specifics, build in different angles, bring in the right creators, and work the replies as a team

the clearest explanation i've seen of how to turn X's algorithm breakdown into better content:
STOP treating X's algorithm like a cheat code. want more reach?
use its multipliers to engineer virality BEFORE you hit publish.
here's how each interaction compares with a like:
- someone copies the link: 30x
- someone you follow back replies: 30x
- a reply, a quote, or a DM share: 7.6x
- a follow from the post: 6x
- a repost: 1.5x
- a like: 1x
- a bookmark: 0
with this information, it's much easier to choose topics and structure your tweets around the actions you want readers to take.
example:
in the first case, you're writing an article about "How to Make Money in [YOUR NICHE]" and just sharing your thoughts. that's good, but it's not as shareable as it could be.
in the second case, you add market research, your personal workflow, or ready-to-use agents. something readers can use right away and send to their friends.
as a result, it can earn LIKES because it's useful, BOOKMARKS because people want to come back to it, and LINK SHARES because they know someone who needs it. it also gives new readers a reason to FOLLOW you and REPLY with questions or their own results.
my point is, "can someone boost my post?" shouldn't be your distribution strategy. "who would send this to a friend, and why?" should be part of writing it.
bookmark this and come back before your next post.
if you were the reader, who would you send it to, and why?
