Happy to see this one out in the world after a mammoth effort. If you like c-Src (who doesn’t?!) and watching vessels blow up like a balloon, this one is for you!
Thanks to @J_Cell_Sci, who made this a delightful process. journals.biologists.com/jcs/…
Many new faces bringing ideas and energy to vascular biology- thanks @RuhrbergLab Christiana for fabulous meeting!

Congrats! This award is so well-deserved! Summer is the best - she runs the trains and is the face of UNC Biology for our many, many undergraduates. I was privileged to work with her for 5 yrs (while chair) - she never complained and was always smiling. A treasure!

Amazing visit to my alma mater UNC-CH! Many thanks to @vbautch1 for the treasured invite and mentorship (at my @BautchLab bench)! Memorable time with talented and collegial faculty/trainees on the beautiful campus. My son fell in love with his birthplace and Tar-heals!
Really looking forward to honoring Dr Folkman and exciting science!
Thank you to the Vascular Biology Program @HarvardMed @BostonChildrens for sponsoring our keynote session on angiogenesis in honour of Dr Judah Folkman. Introductions by Vicki Bautch @bautchLab. Please apply at grc.org/endothelial-cell-phe…
We're honored to have such an amazing trailblazer in the vascular biology field. Nice that she is now getting recognition for her many contributions and perseverance - I read several of her papers/monographs early in my career and was inspired!
Dr. Florence Sabin was a pioneering vascular biologist. She achieved many firsts – including first woman elected to Nat’l Acad. of Sci., and first woman named full professor at John Hopkins SOM. Dr. Sabin’s legacy continues to inspire #womeninstem. #WomensHistoryMonth #HERstory
