My thread on my immigration story is taking off. A brief introduction is warranted. I’m originally fr the UK. I’m Roman Catholic. My politics are conservative, but there are nuances and gradients, as with many. I was pro-masks/pro-vaccines. And anti-abortion. I tweet abt royalty.

POW is selling off
Devon property to raise money for other priorities, including homelessness & climate change. Tenants have been offered 1st refusals to buy their homes, & 8 out of 9 farming tenants are in talks to buy their land w/discounts available. People just hate change.
I, too, had a nanny, as assuredly this girl has. But I also had a loving and involved mother. This woman is a stranger to her daughter.

Pathetic for a mother to have to ask an AI “assistant” for three positives about her child. I weep for that little girl.

I was too young to frequent such establishments in the 70s, but I know I could buy bubblegum for 3 cents and a bottle of R/C Cola for 25 cents. 😂

I would guess this woman could say three nice things about Dazzle without difficulty.

I like to imagine that the "X Suggestion Finger" is what schizophrenic homeless people see when the voices in their head tell them to shove random elderly people onto the subway tracks
Straight shit my pants @elonmusk fuck you why would you have a hand jump out at me while I’m writing my tweet

Same. I hated his jumpers too.

First president I remember. ALWAYS loathed the man. The voice, the accent, the personality, the moralistic but flagrantly immoral, anti-American preening. Everything.
I seem to remember that Operators were the nicest people. They told you the time, the weather, sometimes had a little chat too. All gone. Only we remember “0” and its cousin, “411”.

My word. We twin in our behaviour. Calling him to say Hi. I used to tell the operator, I want to speak to my Daddy. They soon knew who zhe caller was😂.
Wearing his glasses etc., Yup, was fun times being a kid.
Ugh, the false bonhomie of modern businesses.

Hey is for horses! Love that. My bank, very annoyingly, when you share your account details says 'Hey, here are my details.. etc' Awful. Your Papa sounds manifique!

And in a more comedic vein, Paul Mazursky’s “Moscow on the Hudson.”
Mitt is a really consequential person. Shame about his politics.

Not just a bishop. A stake president (supervising lots of wards and all the bishops in them).

I think Americans have this highly romanticized idea of what royal living spaces really are. Also, we don’t have cottages, really. We have all the central heat/air, big kitchens (even when they’re small). I get her feelings. I’d have been a bit bewildered.
Harry really didn’t give her THE lowdown on being an actual royal. Or that she’d actually still have to function as a regular person. It’s not a TV series. 🤷♀️

My father was returning home from the war. He had to answer some questions from a Sarge who was filling in forms.
Father's profession?
He's the Archbishop of Canterbury.
And I'm the Queen of Sheba! Father's profession?

Not sure what H&M are into with their interior design. From what little I've seen it always looks temporary, no quirky pieces they fell in love with, more stuff they could ditch at a moment's notice. Not that most celebs don't hire a designer to produce fake interiors anyway.
