Chennai (KTCC) from today. Expect sudden, short and intense spells of rain during the daytime, followed by sunny breaks. Rain intensity is likely to increase from evening into the night and continue through the early morning hours.
Delta, Pondy, Cuddalore Villupuram coast all will get very good rains. Ramnathapuram coastal areas, Pudukottai coastal areas will also be in hot spot today tonight to tomorrow morning.

These are insane rainrate which one will see in life. Kathivakkam has got 260 mm. Of which, 148 mm fell in an hour. I have never seen such rain rates in Chennai. Areas close to sea are pounded.
The clouds have covered south Chennai too, entire Chennai should be getting rains now.

Parts of North Chennai have already been battered by very heavy rainfall. Caution is advised, as another band of clouds is blooming over North Chennai, potentially dumping additional heavy rain over areas that have already received substantial rainfall.
Please stay alert, avoid waterlogged roads and low-lying areas, and exercise caution while travelling. Keep an eye on the skies and stay tuned for further updates.
This can give other parts of City also heavy rains

The first half was underwhelming for me. May be because of the expectations that I carried into the theatre. And also may be I kind of knew what the plot was and nothing was revealed in the first half.
But the second half - wow. It was poetry.
Karthik Subbaraj has presented to us what should go down as one of the most memorable and ground breaking movies in Tamil Cinema.The second half is gripping and the emotions flow beautifully across.
