ALT This study reveals that SGLT2 inhibitors significantly reduce the risk of cachexia, malnutrition, and mortality in heart failure patients with a history of anthracycline-based cancer treatments. Analyzing data from 1,323 matched patient pairs over five years, SGLT2i use was linked to improved survival and reduced adverse metabolic outcomes, suggesting a potential therapeutic role in these patients.
