“no kink shaming” proceeds to shame women for embracing their sexual desire and not being ashamed of enjoying a safe and consensual play pretend with their partners. it’s always the disguise of feminism that most reeks of misogyny

fair enough

“we should publicly shame proshippers” = we should publicly shame people who are mature enough to separate fiction from reality and understand that harassment is never justified, especially when it’s over fictional characters in fictional stories. some of y’all are just bullies

proship stance does NOT mean “I like taboo and problematic things” proship stance is an anti harassment stance. it means “I’ll mind my own business, block/mute what upsets me, instead of harassing or shaming people over fiction.” what trope someone likes or hates is irrelevant

my biggest fear is watching gay porn and it burning into my screen

“do you see yourself as the top or the bottom when you write/read smut?” neither. I’m sitting on The chair as god intends.

people on twitter keep confusing proship with darkship 😕😭 proship = I think harassment and censorship are bad. let’s mute/block what we don’t like instead of harassing real people over fiction darkship = I enjoy ships that are considered taboo, controversial and problematic

me writing fanfic and wanting to increase my word count

sometimes I wonder if people on the internet who make a big deal out of taboo fiction and those who enjoy taboo fiction know they sound like puritans from the 80s who believed horror movies were demonic and those who liked horror movies were satan worshippers and serial killers

watching movies makes you a predator now
