When I say Axelsson earned every bit of his shutout, this is what I mean. He stole quite a few this weekend and it’s a shame he couldn’t have gotten two blank sheets. 119:38 of goal-free hockey. (Shoutout to Ty Hanson’s great save on Friday as well…still need a pic of that)

Carl Axelsson posted the shutout, accounting for a +3.09 GSAx, though Bemidji edged xG 3.09-2.57. Ty Hanson scored twice and Jayson Shaugabay had 2 assists. Zam Plante's empty-netter sealed it.
