Via Melanium Vtuber

This is my love letter to the Vtuber community. I genuinely appreciate to have met so many of you all, I feel like my life changed in such an explosive way thanks to my community, the VTuber community, and the earnest generosity, faith, and love my friends have given me all these years. They’ve been nothing but patient and supportive and I always strive to do the exact same while feeling like it’s never enough because they mean the world to me. And it sucks since I’m still working on trying to vocalize that more and more for them to know how much it means they’re in my life. It’s thanks to VTubers that I was able to become a more passionate person, and learn more about who I am. Seeing so many awesome people in this medium inspired and driven is infectious. I truly believe the wonderful people of the VTuber community as a whole has helped me become a better version of myself and it’s a fact I’m eternally grateful for. I want to say it’s annoying when there are many that still don’t understand what we do as a whole, because there is so much good that has been birthed by the incredible creatives in this space. There are many stories and missions that I’ve had the honor to see or be a part of due to the generosity of those kind souls here. I do feel like that the overall community has changed quite a bit and the landscape of streaming as well over the past 4-5 years. However, I believe the community perseveres through these changes and I know that I am also a product of this change too for the better of my mental, but I hope every VTuber reading knows how inspirational they are and have been to millions of people like myself and continue to do it despite how different the world we live in is now. Thank you all for being some of the most positively infectious and creative minds I’ve had the pleasure to speak to, to learn from, and to be inspired by. Many of you have helped fueled such a fervent passion for my own craft throughout the years through your art, your content, and your words. I genuinely love the community and love being here with you wonderful people, even if there are inevitable disagreements, I know we can unite under a common love for the medium. My friends and this community ultimately never fail to make me smile, and I’m glad I’ve gotten to just smile so much more since becoming Shoto. I would not be Shoto without you all, without VTubing. Thank you guys. 💜
