In the 2 weeks since, @BrightonHoveCC could have:
- acknowledged my tweet
- responded with explanation
- responded with apology & promise to behave
- responded with offer to halve my Council Tax
- ignored my tweets
Guess which?

Nature is an old hand at making new trees. Natural regeneration costs less, requires less human intervention & is more resilient than tree planting. It should be our default.
So why was only 4% of England's new woodland in 2021-22 created this way?

Please don’t mow or spray the dandelions. These wildflowers are often a lifeline for pollinators including bees, butterflies, hoverflies. They support over 50 insect species. Our little film shows the life in a small patch 🐝

A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. RT if you agree 🌳

Chapel-en-le-Frith Morris, over the hill?? Certainly not, but we will be ON the hill (Eccles Pike) at 5.30am on May 1st to greet the sun. We can't guarantee the weather will be as gorgeous as in this video from 2018 but it's always magical even if misty. buff.ly/41QZDer

If nothing’s done before another increase in Jan, the fuel poor could rise to 39m – including 4 out of 5 lone parents, pensioners and large families.
