Duo-Man is now Deck-Man! Expanding my app to have a unique experience on all platforms and not just the Duo, so it only makes sense to have a better name reflecting that. See you October 23 on the App Store!

The circular stairs are a bit scary. 5th Ave. Is one of the most beautiful Apple Stores out there.

Tiny Computer is such an insanely good and timely app. There's a cyberdeck revolution out there, and the app is just another indictment of just how cool tiny computers are.

Went to a Bagel place yesterday and was impressed by how they still had the manual paper trail system for ordering Bagels. Transported me back to Delhi. Needless to say the Bagel was very good (I didn’t get a good picture of the food sadly).

10/10 I’m also a huge fan of the pay up front model for apps

I have so many thoughts about this book. But yes, the first few pages are a drag but then it’s practically a page turner. I read the last 100 pages in a sitting.

And it's not just the charts or the features or the coverage, it's just how much people have enjoyed the app that makes me happy. Just seeing people's response to things like the tape getting tangled was a highlight for me.

Apple’s motion circles for Motion Sickness are some sorcery. I have no idea how they work, but they work very very well. It’s an Accessibility masterclass.

Critic friends in the US attending Ramayana (Part 1) screenings: please be advised that Sony is only screening the English dub for press, which 1) is lip-synced using Gen A.I. and 2) is about 30 minutes shorter than the original Hindi version, which isn’t screening pre-release

There’s a fun section, where I also get to express my love for analog and physical media and show off my Walkman collection along the way.
A screenshot of a newsletter article featuring a man standing next to a vintage Sony Walkman and other retro cassette players including an iPad shot of Duo-Man (now Deck-Man). The post discusses the user's love for analog media and their interest in reviving the Walkman on a $2,000 folding phone.

Taking notes on the iPhone Duo is so satisfying… especially when it looks and feels like a real notebook that truly belongs to you. With TypeDraw you choose what happens when you “open” your book, and you can personalise it with custom colours, fonts and even your own handwriting. For everyone lucky enough to have their hands on a Duo today: TypeDraw is available on the App Store now. For everyone else: it also looks and works great on regular iPhones 😄
