Is there a way of finding peace deep within, in a world that appears to be sliding down, into fragmentation and disorder? And if there is, should we go there and withdraw our attention from all the toxic noise, at least temporarily?
The cosmic arc is toward enhancement & refinement of connection. Biologically, that is often in tension with survival. Those in power, when faced with a threat, will choose survival by any means, including killing the rest of us.
Power, in human life, can be exercised in one of two ways: through refined connection, or brutal control. The former is sophisticated, the latter, a primitive survival-drive. That distinction is explained in my book, The Unifying Primal Principle.

The US is no longer a democracy by any stretch of the imagination. Americans may finally wake up to that after the mid terms are savaged by the gangster in power.
The FBI Fulton County raid came as no surprise.
What was surprising was who led the initiative: U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Thomas Albus.
And there is all the reason to believe the federal prosecutor will use his power to interfere with the upcoming elections.
